(A few days later)
A few hours go by of me silently thinking in my room as Kadachi went about his daily business, I flip through the file the detective had left scanning over every little detail.
(The evidence they collected was little to nothing it seems. The only DNA they have is some skin cells from under my nails and even just that theirs so little of it they can only test it once, I'm sure they'd save it but...)
The deep green eyes flash through my mind as I tighten my grip around the papers.
(Someone I know with green eyes such as those, it's a chilling feeling to think that someone I'm close to might have done this...)
I sigh and lay the folder onto the desk.
(A baby huh...)
I lay my hand over my scar while still in thought.
(I wonder what life we could be having right now if you weren't savagely ripped away from me.)
(A few days later.)
A few days goes by and during that time Kadachi willingly Invited me to the event I needed to go to which made it easier to focus on my plan.
(First I have to meet Kaito's undercover agent at the balcony outside of the event doors, then He'll lead me to Mr. Shiho. Next I'll use order 66 like master taught me!)
I try on my chosen gown for the event I noticed a huge issue from the get go as I look at myself in the mirror.
(Great, this ones to bulky, if I want to move around more freely in case of emergency I should wear a lighter one.)
After rummaging through my closet I find a lose yet more elegant and stunning gown that was a light pink and long sleeved, I put it on and as I look at myself in the mirror putting final touches on my makeup and jewelry a thought accord to me.)
(According to Kaito, there is going to be an illegal business hand off tonight, my job is to retrieve the goods, subdue the businessmen and Kaito will deal with the rest. I'm sure Kaito and his friends could deal with this on there own but I also know...that this is a test for me.)
I stand up and grab my coat before walking out of the room closing the door behind me still a bit lost in thought.
(I just need to grab his attention, further details says he's a very discreet person so grabbing his attention might be difficult.)
"Miss. Kairi?"
"Hmm?"
I look up to see one of the maids holding my purse with a bright smile.
"Master Kadachi said he will be waiting for you outside by the car whenever you're ready."
I nod and politely smile back while grabbing my purse from her.
"Thank you, I hope you have a good night!"
She nods back.
"You as well Miss. Kairi!"
-A few moments later in the backseat of the car.-
As I awkwardly sit in the seat next to Kadachi he chuckles.
"What's got you so tense? It's just a charity event, it'll be fun to mingle while I do the boring stuff."
I nervously laugh before sighing.
"I guess I'm just worried that...Everyone will look down upon you because of me."
Just then the air seemed to of getting chilly and as I look over I see Kadachi with an icy cold stare as he peered out of the window.
"Not everyone thinks like that and if they did I'd be the first to step in if anyone tries to say anything...You have my word."
I couldn't help but smile at his genuine words, and in this moment I realized something extraordinary about Kadachi...
(He's a real caring guy, even if lot of people don't get to see this side of Kadachi I can tell he's an amazing man bound to change lives for the better...)
I lean over and kiss his cheek, I could tell he wasn't expecting it considering how much he blushed. I giggled and he flicked my forehead.
"You can't just randomly kiss people like that out of no where!"
I giggle but slowly stop smiling and sigh.
(I should tell him...I wasn't planning on keeping it a secret this long but...I guess I was scared of his reaction. I know hes a good guy so even if its a bad reaction I know I can trust he'll understand."
"Hey Kadachi-"
Kadachi smirks as if expecting something.
"Um, There is something that I need to talk to you about."
Kadachi nods still smirking.
"Um...well I-why are you smirking?"
His smirk turns into a grin before reaching his hand out to move a few strands of hair out of my face.
"Because I already know what you want to tell me, Honestly I wasnt expecting you to tell me before I guess Kaito won the bet."
Shocked I blush.
"W-Wait you knew I have been training this entire time with Kaito and his master?"
Kadachi sighs and leans back into his seat.
"Well, I didnt know for awhile, I suspected something was amiss so I sent Kota and a few others to keep eyes on you to make sure you were safe, after a few weeks went by and when Kaito showed up for your birthday we finally put the pieces together, So I went and confronted Kaito first and our master next. That's when they told me you were wanting to tell me but you seemed to be afraid of something. So when Kaito told me he talked you about it he made a bet saying you would tell me before the banquet, I bet you would tell me during the banquet."
Stunned by his confident expression and straight forward response I shake my head and giggle.
"Geez you guys even made a bet about me, you guys are dummies."
I start to laugh and he gets a little annoyed and starts to bicker, and for the rest of the car ride there I felt so much more at ease about the whole situation that I couldn't stop smiling whenever I looked at Kadachi."
(In the end he knew and still wasn't angry...If anything he was worried and made sure not to interrupt me at any point and let me come to him on my own time...Kadachi...Your truly an amazing guy.)
