"She just disrupts my plan and leaves," Lord Thanses spat, already in a bad mood. Nevertheless, as annoying as Vremeya had been, her actions had solved the issue already. Although he wasn't Noah's master, one connection to an immortal meant any immortal could interact with him.
"I can now assist you as much as I want," Lord Thanses announced, taking a sip from one of the drinks available. Their meeting had been short, and no one had been in the mood for eating.
"What do I do next?' Noah asked, also focusing on the table full of food. He picked up a spoonful of something and put it in his mouth, relishing the taste. They had eaten that day, but more didn't hurt.
"It has been a long day for you both; I must allow you to rest and ponder on all that has happened. The journey ahead of us will leave almost no time for luxuries… as you know the world is ending."
Noah nodded, satisfied with that response; he did need to think.
