Zero peeped his head inside of the back entrance and looked around, it was dimly lit like a dark tunnel through a cave. He gulped and continued inwards in hopes of solving this problem quickly. "Please don't let this old woman be someone extremely muscular or something.." mistaken that he had protagonist plot armor because of rebirth he spoke out loud but not too loud, slightly above a whisper.
"The bad thing about Dragon Ball is that literally, anyone can be some op character. Think of Goten or kid Trunks for example, at first glance they would look like normal kids right?" While walking Zero almost tripped over a strangely long object in the darkness, and his fear got a hold of him.
"It's not an arm.. it's not an arm... please don't let it be an arm!" That yell was a little too loud as it echoed throughout the building, and with a mistake that bad.. came consequences. In the next room, a young woman was sitting with her left leg over her right in a chair while the son sat next to her. "Arm-!" They heard an echo and glanced in the direction of where it came.
"Seems we have visitors Kevin, go and welcome them for mommy would you?" She said very sarcastically. "It would be my honor hehe" Replying in the same sarcastic tone then jumped off the spot near Samantha, Kevin bowed respectfully at his mom and left for the echo with a torch in hand.
"To get my mind off of that I'm going to just keep talking to myself... You would think they are normal kids at first glance but if you were to accidentally bump into them on a bad day then best believe they will rip you a new one as they say." And of course, he bumped into a small kid on his way through the hallway and jumped back.
"W-what are you d-doing here kid??" Zero could not keep up the tough guy act for a single second, after all, he did just get through talking about kids who could easily one-shot him.
The small boy held a torch in his hand which lit the hallways, it leads Zero to wonder how did he not see this ahead of time. Was he just too caught up in his self-speech? That seemed highly likely. Kevin's facial expression showed that he was petrified of the situation, his eyes crying and runny nose would also show that he was scared. "H-help m-meee!" The boy dropped the torch and ran into Zero's arms crying and shaking a lot.
"I'm so sorry, you must be really scared.." Zero tried to comfort this boy who he knew nothing about. "Everything will be okay, I just need to find the woman who is causing all of this and maybe talk some sense into her"
Now being more determined than ever Zero looked at the boy and asked which direction he should go to find this elderly woman. Kevin pointed and moved behind Zero as he started to walk. Moments after they enter a large gathering room where a bunch of people was huddled on one side of the room scared for their lives!
"Where is the-" Realizing that Kevin was nowhere to be found when looking behind him he panicked a bit. "Oh sh-" When he turned his head back to the front it was met with a fist. As the fist and his face connected Zero flew towards a wall on the left which he left a crater in.
"Jeez louise, you hit like a-" He looked up at an old woman standing above him. She wore a flower Sunday and heels, her hairstyle was a gray afro. "Don't tell me... you just threw that punch didn't you?" his question was more in denial than a legitimate question. "I can't believe this old woman slugged me that hard, mannn I just finished talking about OP people in this damn universe!"
Zero started to complain while still trying to understand how in the hell did she hit that hard. Then it dawned on him, this detail was so obvious he felt even more embarrassed. "Why the fuck is this being used now of all times?!"
He wanted to cry because right in the middle of that elderly's face is a witchcraft talisman. "Okay yeah I know there are witches and magic in this world but I didn't expect to bump into someone using it this soon..." He slapped his palm on his face and looked around for the caster. "Hoho- Looking for me young one?" The lady's voice sent shivers down Zero's spine and he zeroed in on her position in the room.
Samantha stood up and stretched peacefully like she had no troubles in the world. "I came here to stop you. So tell me what purpose do you have asking for that much money?" Zero stood up dusting off his clothes.
"What do I want? Isn't it obvious by now, I want wealth and power! I need to show the boss I am worthy!" He looked at her and felt like this has been done more times than he could think. "Okay, so there are more people involved in this? You wish to conquer this little town and then what? You expect people to just allow this Town to stay under your control??" Now was his time to try and talk her out of this, little did Zero know she was dead set on gaining this city as hers
"Do you think I haven't planned for that? Once I have this city is mine the boss will send reinforcements to help keep it ours, we will turn this into one of our few bases." Her fists clinched because she was a little annoyed at his attempt to convene her out of her brilliant plan.
"Though these are lesser versions of the Jiang Shi talismans which I haven't fully mastered yet, they will still be more than enough for you! Attack him!" her talisman craft wasn't perfected and could only bring out 75% of one's full power.
"Oh no-" The old woman who had a faint purple aura ran to Zero and kicked him in the stomach which pushed him more into the wall that started to crack from the pressure. He tried to block it but was unsuccessful in the attempt and coughed up a mouthful of blood. 'Am I about to die by an old woman-' He thought to himself.
'This can't be it for me I just got here!' He stood with his right hand slightly more forward than his left near his face and his left foot pushed a bit further back than his right and knees bent slightly. "I'm not going to die, not by some lowlife like you anyways" He said talking to Samantha while keeping his eyes focused on the old woman.
"Ahhhh!" Zero ran and threw his right fist towards her face but failed due to the possessed woman ducking left and using her right to hit him in the face. "You are quite a pathetic child, such attacks as those will never harm us!" She laughed quite devilishly while spitting out commands like a mad puppeteer.

Meanwhile somewhere in the sky was a man flying around on a bright yellow cloud. "Cha-La Head-Cha-La-" He was enjoying flying through the air at fast speeds while the wind blew through his hair. Very free-spirited he was, never liked to be in one place long. Flying up above the ground the man noticed a town and flew towards it.
"I wonder what's happening down there" The man noticed one big building had smoke coming from one side and went to check it out. Upon arrival he sees a brown-skinned human with dreads get tossed out of the building and landing in another not too far from there. "Woah, they must be really strong to do be able to throw someone that far!"
Goku jumped from his cloud and landed near the hole in the building and looked inside. There were people still crowded in the corner fearing for their lives while an old woman stood there with paper on her face and Goku instantly frowned. "You must be behind all of this!" He thrust out his right palm and a concentrated gust of powerful wind flew at her face sending her flying through the other wall and into the next building. "Oh uh, whoops heheh-" he felt kind of embarrassed.
"I was sure she was really strong, though her Ki signature seems very weak she managed to do all of this herself?" Just as he was about to leave Samantha snapped out of her shocked state. "How c-could you.." Her anger was building up, some random man with messy hair showed up and managed to defeat one of her puppets. "You disgusting pig! How dare you harm my precious baby, take this!!"
In a fit of rage, she raised both of her hands and a stack of talisman paper flew towards the faces of the other hostages in the building. They all stood up and slowly looked at Goku. "Oo you've done it now, when momma gets mad people start to regret it." Kevin was back by Samantha's side who was now panting a bit because of her being low on energy. Goku smiled and entered his battle stance "NOW ATTACK!!"
All twenty-five people rushed Goku at once, a middle-aged man tried to sweep him but that was easily avoided by a small jump. Another woman tried to punch while he was distracted but she was stopped by a smiling Goku and his pinkie finger. "Is that all you got?" He was a little disappointed in this fight but still have fun. As the fight dragged on, Zero got up and walked towards the battle.
Blood leaked from his head and he had a limp in his left leg. Once getting closer he noticed a special someone fighting around twenty other puppets, well a more accurate description would be a bullfighter toying with a bull using a cape. "G-Goku?!" He almost fainted after he saw him fight.
Noticing the man Goku stopped fighting and looked at Zero. "Yo!" He held up a peace sign at Zero. The puppets all saw their chance and started attacking him. For some reason every hit they landed did nothing, it was as if they were hitting a wall of steel that wouldn't dent nor budge! "Are you hurt? These people aren't very strong so I'm surprised you were damaged."
The attacks were starting to annoy him so he crouched a bit and screamed. As he screamed he pushed his arms from his body which created a shockwave that pushed the people off of his body causing them to fly in various directions.
"Yeah, but I'll be fine." Zero smiled. Inside he was freaking out. 'Is this a dream? I'm talking to Goku, THE Goku!!' While they were distracted by talking Samantha and Kevin fled the scene.
"But thanks for the help, I couldn't have done it without you." Goku nodded and started to walk away. "Hey um, do you happen to know where the old turtle hermit Master Roshi lives?" Zero asked Goku.
He turned around confused "You know who Master Roshi is?" Goku replied. "No..well I want to get a lot stronger and I figured that he was the best way to do it-" Zero was very nervous asking this upfront after all Goku can easily flick him and he would die.
"I can take you but who knows if he'll teach you. Here, take this" Goku tosses a small bean at Zero who eats it and notices his body makes a full recovery and his hunger was gone. "Let's go!" Goku turned and yelled "NIMBUSSS!!!" As a yellow cloud seemed to come down from the sky and "park" itself right in front of Goku and Zero.
"I have to warn you, you are only capable of riding on the Nimbus cloud if your heart is pure." Goku warned and casually hopped on the cloud without falling through the bottom. "Okay, let's see if my heart is pure.." Zero closed his eyes and tried to hop on the cloud. Much to his surprise, he managed to stay on it. The Nimbus was extremely soft, it felt like riding on well, a cloud! Without a word, Goku and Zero fly towards the Southeast to the Kame House.

Later that night in an alleyway of that small town Samantha and Kevin sat on crates as a man in a white tuxedo and fedora lit his cigar with a golden flip lighter. "So you tellin' me you tried to conquer this town by yourself?" He puffed on the cigar and his face was illuminated by the light. The man's face dawned a horrific scar on his right eye which was sealed shut.
On his neck was a scaly tattoo of a Cobra snake in a horizontal figure 8 pattern. All members of the Cobra organization had a tattoo similar to this somewhere on their bodies. Samantha had hers on her left shoulder blade while Kevin had his on his right bicep.
"You know the boss isn't gonna be happy when he hears this." His voice was raspy and deep. "Failure isn't an option, and that was your last strike. You two are in for it" Before he could finish his sentence Samantha interrupted the man and yelled.
"But it wasn't our fault, we had everything under control! Some man came and stopped everything which-" Annoyed at her stopping him from finishing he raised his right hand and swung it at her face backhanding her. The hit was so hard her body lifted off the ground, did a 360 spin while flying backward, and landing onto her back.
"Don't talk over me when I am speaking damn it!" The slap combined with the yelling caused Kevin to flinch hard and curl into a ball on his crate. The man straightened himself and continued like nothing ever happened. "The boss isn't going to be happy with you. All you had to do was choose any job and complete it with no trouble."
"Even a moron with half a brain cell would have chosen something as easy as robbing a bank or local store." He sighed, shook his head, and snapped his fingers alerting two henchmen in similar suits but gray. As they entered the alleyway they picked Samantha up by her arms and dragged her to the hovering limousine.
Taking a few more puffs man in white tossed his cigar to the floor and stepped on it. "C'mon kid, we're heading back." He gently placed his hand on Kevin's back motioning him to move. Kevin looked at the man with Terror in his eyes but reluctantly followed the man's orders.
After everyone was in the limo the driver drove towards the North. "You knew the risks when you signed up to be a part of this organization Sam. I'll try to convince him to lighten your punishment only because we are old friends, but there are no promises that he will listen to me. It was a long and quiet drive back to their main HQ, both Samantha and Kevin had their heads down as they awaited their possible doom.
