Suddenly he realized that he currently had no goal besides getting stronger, but he didn't know how! Zero's mind was also scattered everywhere thinking about everything he can do now that he is in this universe! "Okay okay, think Zero!" He encouraged himself to focus on one thing at a time.
"How about I genuinely try to train? Cus as of right now-" Looking around this bare plot of land, he noticed a small farmhouse in the distance. DING! "That building is well, your new home Zero. Originally your host's whose name was Coal might I add, lived there by himself previously with family. There is no need to act a certain way because no one will know the difference in your attitude due to all of his family being dead and no social history outside of family was recorded." Said the system who was trying to inform and help get his mind on track. Then another idea was formulated as he walked towards the said house.
"-I currently have no skills and my body feels just barely any stronger than my past body. But as we all know the folks in this world are far too strong for me to fight in my current state." Zero arrived at the house and took a look inside. It was bland and boring, just a white house with white furniture. "The best people I can think of within my grasp that could help me get stronger would be Master Roshi, Tien, Krillin, or..."
He gulped and finish talking to himself "Y-Yamcha...." Yamcha was undoubtedly the weakest of the Z-fighters, but Zero had plans for him. First, he would ask Yamcha to teach him the wolf fang fist, which was a super underrated attack in his opinion. "After I'm done with him, I can move on to Tien or Krillin. Each had their own set of skills..for the most part...and I figure those are some great starting grounds for me. Don't you think Jr?"
Zero felt a bit silly talking to himself like that, if anyone else were around they could laugh and call him crazy. The system was named Aurora Jr because it sounded quite similar to the goddess so why not?
"So Jr, where can I find the Kame house?" Silence filled the building, as Jr searched and suddenly DING! "The Kame house is in the Southeast located on a small island in the ocean. Your approximate travel time while taking the shortest routes with minimal breaks will be fourteen days or two weeks." He was quite shocked at how close he lived to that area!
"Okay, then where is the Diablo Desert located?" This time the calculation was a lot quicker. "The Diablo Desert is along the same path to the Kame house, located in the Southeast Mountains. The area around here hosts a city known as Satan City!" She finished and everything went quiet leaving him to his thoughts. "So I should see if he is in his old hideout within Diablo Desert, if not I should head towards Satan city before continuing to Roshi's."
As he thought up a plan Zero explored the house and found a few bags and filled them with a week's worth of travel food. Either way it went was a win for him. If Yamcha was still there then Zero could learn from him and head over towards Roshi's next. But in the likelihood of Yamcha not being there, he would just continue to Satan City and finally arrive at the Kame house.
"Alright, this should last me until arrival. While I'm there, maybe I can learn a bit of Ki control. If I don't learn any then you might as well be throwing pebbles and sticks at a steel door when Raditz shows up."
Leaving behind the house making sure to remember where it is, Zero leaves on an adventure.

Meanwhile, a young man around the age of twenty-one years old was sitting in a small house in the mountains with a woman cuddled in his arms and a baby on his lap. He wore a bright orange outfit and messy hair, something was clearly bothering him no matter how much he tried to hide it. "Hey Chi-Chi, I'm getting kind of bored can I go now? We've been sitting around for hours, I can feel my body getting weaker!" The young man groaned and hated the thought of sitting around for too long.
His body was itching for a fight, he hasn't fought anyone particularly strong in the past two and a half years now! 'I wonder what Piccolo is up to right now..' He sighed realizing that this was how his life would be now.
"Goku we've only been sitting here for 15 minutes! You just got done showering after 3 hours of training, why can't you spend some time with your family?" Chi-Chi looked up at him with a slightly concerned face as she urged him to stay put. "But Chi Chi.." He was desperate for a way out of this situation and smiled once he came up with what he would call a 'brilliant' idea.
"Oo, ooo! How about I take Gohan to train with me! It'll be great for him to learn how to fight while he is little dontcha think?" In his eyes this was perfect! What could go wrong??
"Goku-" But Chi Chi didn't think the same, as a vein bulged on her forehead while her right hand twitched. "NO!!" She gives his head a good whack with her knuckle, her fist smokes as a knot grew from the top of his head. The feisty woman picked up their one-and-a-half-year-old baby boy and yelled. "You can't take a baby out to train, he doesn't even know how to walk yet Goku!!"
The loud yelling wakes baby Gohan up and he starts crying loudly. "Look what you made me do- Just go!" She looked at Gohan and started rocking him in her arms and baby-talking him trying to get him calm. "Aw Gohan, it'll be okay. You'll grow up to be a very smart young man!" Smiling at him she tickles his little stomach with her fingers causing him to stop crying and giggle a bit. Finally being able to grab one of her fingers he puts it in his mouth and slowly starts to fall back asleep.
"Gok-" When she turns around the place that once sat an overly punch happy man was now vacant. "When will he ever learn?" Chi Chi smiles and shakes her head while walking to put Gohan in his bed. Afterward, she Kisses his forehead and to the bathroom.

Around two days later Zero was walking along a very open plains area, he was just about halfway through his food supply and there were no animals nearby for consumption. "Jeez, what I would give to be able to fly right now" Sweat dripped from the bottom of his chin and fell on the floor. "Why not make this a little harder? Sure it's working on my cardio, but is it enough?" He mocked himself.
Completely voluntarily, Zero has been doing high knees while moving at a normal walking pace for the past three days! "This should give my legs a little bit more of a workout, every bit of time should be used wisely or at least well and you can use it." Still, there were no regrets in his actions. It gave him a big of an early start for leg workouts. As he travels so many thoughts of how he could change the whole course of the universe came to mind "Ooo I can change so much that happens in this universe by starting or stopping even the slightest action someone from the main cast does!
"I have plans for my favorite characters, I'll give Master Roshi something special. He's been real underrated recently so I've decided to make a wish to give Master Roshi the genetic ability that the Saiyans possess known as the Zenkai boost." He smiled at the thought of an elderly 'Saiyan-human hybrid' walking around. "Sheesh my legs are getting tired, but I mustn't stop. At least not till tomorrow, after that, I can rest and then start working on my arms for the following three days."
Hours ticked by and the sky grew dark. The night sky was beautiful, hundreds of thousands of stars could be seen and the world felt quite peaceful. "Man, Earth is such a beautiful place to live in this anime. Personally, my favorite 'series' in the Dragon Ball franchise was the original." He remembered some of the more quiet episodes with Bulma and Goku from his childhood.
"Kind of a shame I wasn't reborn in that time frame. I could have met kid Goku, Krillin, Master Roshi, and even Bulma! Those times were so peaceful, well...if you don't count the fact that Goku had fought the entire Red Ribbon Army-" The Red Ribbon Army had plans to rule the world as a whole while their commander had a secret objective in mind. His goal was to find the dragon balls and make a wish that allowed him to grow a few feet taller.
"Wow to think he would have double-crossed his entire army just for a few inches of height!" Zero laughed at the thought of such a stupid wish. "He could have wished for something much better like I don't know, become the strongest person on Earth! Or if his height was bothering him that much, he should have gone to Capsule Corporation for some kind of height-enhancing drug. I'm pretty sure with all the technology they had and have now, he could have gotten what he wanted and STILL have the power for world domination!!"
Keeping up his high knees all night Zero continued towards the Southeast making sure to ask Aurora Jr if he was headed in the right direction. After a few more hours he arrived at a small town and took a rest on the side of an important-looking building. "I really need to sl...zzzzz" He fell asleep.
The morning sun rises and the people of the town start to wake up.
"Rise and shine everybody!" The town Mayor was a robust young man with a head full of hair, somewhere in his mid-twenties he was very outgoing and welcoming. "Hey Mayorrr!!" Said a little boy running towards him. "Woah now you're up early, I was not expecting you here. Anyways come give me a hug!" Holding his arms wide open the boy jumped to the Mayor who then picked him up and smiled. "Yup, mom is getting ready for the big day. Wanna see her??"
Today was not just another day in the small town, today was a day of food and happiness. Today, the Mayor was getting married to a beautiful woman!
"Sorry but I have things to do at the office right now, but even if I didn't I wouldn't see her until she got ready for the day. You must be so excited for today huh?" He was also struggling to keep his emotions in check, how was one supposed to act normal knowing that they are getting married in a few hours?
"Yes, I am! My mother is going to be so happy, she's been feeling down since father passed but once you came into the picture her sadness has gone away and was as good as new!" The boy looked up at the Mayor with big puppy eyes and started crying crocodile tears of joy.
"Don't cry little Kevin, I'll take care of you and Samantha. Now you get home and go help your mother get ready." He smiled while giving Kevin a head pat who turned and ran away. Moments later Kevin walks through the door and looks at his mother with a completely different attitude than before. "Mother, this gullible oaf is completely sold in our story." Kevin laughed with such malice one would think he was an evil wizard atop a large tower.
"Hoho- Very good Kevin, everything is falling into place perfectly. His fortune and this city will be ours!" Samantha's sinister voice held a frightening tone. She was excited about this wedding as well but for different reasons. Kevin and Samantha were a part of a new secretive organization called Cobra! Like any other, Cobra aims to conquer the world and unify everyone into one singular hive mind.
"Maybe once we have this city under our control the boss will acknowledge our skill!" The boss has a very large following and these two were among the lowest...

It was late in the afternoon when Zero wakes up wiping his eyes while yawning. "Three days of straight high knees, my legs are sore and my food is-" Looking at what was where three days' worth of food would be located, were instead empty torn up bags. "I don't know why I thought sleeping in an alleyway of a town was a good idea. My food was taken from me by the rodents and whatever else came through here at night!" He stood up and dusted his clothes while walking out the alley. Zero was shocked at how much wedding decoration was littered across various buildings. "So it seems like someone is getting married? They must be important for all of this." Zero continued to walk around.
"Where there is a wedding there is food!" He cracked his knuckles and walked towards the nearest church and saw that there were police at said building! "What the-" Right as he was about to finish his sentence Zero was tackled to the ground. "Hey get off of me, I just want some food!" The cop looked at him with a frown as he spoke "Listen here boy, we don't want anyone entering that building until we have those poor hostages." The confusion was clear on Zero's face and the cop just sighed.
"Alright son there is an elderly woman inside of that church with multiple hostages, we are trying to negotiate with her to let go of them but what she is asking for is completely unreasonable!" The cop got off of Zero and helped him up explaining her demands. "She is asking for two billion Zeni and some magical wish-granting orbs that no one here has ever heard of!" Even Zero was shocked after hearing this number and mentioning of the dragon balls so soon.
"This woman wanted two billion?! What can she even do with all that money exactly?? Man, she is crazy, ain't no one got that type of money."
The cop shook his head "That is exactly we are trying to get ahold of Capsule Corporation. We are praying the Briefs can spare a little bit of money for those people's lives!"
"Do you think they will do it? They are very busy people you know, is there any other way we can get them out?" The question was directed towards Jr but also the cop so he wouldn't think Zero was crazy, which in turn the cop gloomily shrugged his shoulders.
DING!! "Zero, there is a back entrance to the church. There are no guards nor cops, it is one of their only ways of escape." Aurora Jr spoke telepathically to Zero. 'Back entrances...there's always a back entrance..' Zero was very unenthusiastic about walking in through the back door which seemed like an obvious trap but he had no other option.
"Alright I'm gonna try and find another way in, you all wait here in case I come back alive" The cop protested but he kept marching to the back of the church and gulped. From behind, Zero looked like a Confident steed off to battle while in front he was more scared than a fish swimming towards its predator's mouth.
