(This chapter focuses on the IRL side of the week from the previous chapter) Using the cyberpunk game I save load to get my unity crafting and scrapping skill up to 3. Work on the improved nerf gun, my insight is a bit better, but I can't tell how much is from experience and how much is the boost in my technical attribute over there, either way the me in the real world is definitely lagging behind and it's a bit jarring, I get having two bodies but this makes it clear I've got two separate minds with different skills, talents, and such. So while I can definitely notice more wrong than before and assemble it easier it's night and day compared to the me over there. Each day I go to the gun shop and disassemble and reassemble the 1911, my insight and understanding has noticably gotten better with it. This definitely helps a smidge on the other side.
My roommate drags me along to go swimming a couple days, progress towards skills there is negligible, but it's fun and I feel way better, honestly didn't realize how isolated I had become. Start cooking her dinner every night both to grind skills and as thanks.
Kill 1k ants with a machete hoping that's get me a skill... It did.
Melee Machete: Reduce damage from use and increases grip by 0.1% per level.
It's something.
Keep up my goofy parkour practice...dig up and play with worms in various secluded areas hoping to tame and spread some.
Working the field I trying just...knowing more, I looked more at the plants, the dirt, the rocks, I definitely worked abit slower but anything more I notice felt more due to effort and attention than boosted skills or attributes. Did the same with clean up later on, got a bit more insight into metal and plastic wear from stress, use, and heat. But otherwise nothing major.
Ending the evenings I do a fallout 76 level12 loop trying to get more scrapping and reverse engineering skills with only a couple scrapping skills earned throughout the week. Finally before bed I reread a few home improvement instruction pamphlets, feels like I recall more of it than before when I compare the instructions to my memory.
So all in all not a ton, but working diligently even if the progress isn't explosive it's there.
