Suddenly I felt someone's presence I opened my eyes at once and saw it was Jason he was sitting by my side on the bench. He took one of the earphone from my ear and plugged it in his ear. I smiled at him. He said to me "our song".
I said yes.
And we both star gazed and enjoyed the silence and the beauty of the nature. I put my head on his shoulder and said "I miss our old days"
Jason replied "Me too"
"Jason I really hope everything gets better I don't want the history to repeat"
"Don't worry we all will get through it together"
"Hmm"
After 15 min we walked back together to home.
Leo said to me "yo guys"
I said to him "yo.. done eating?"
Leo said "yup done and now we will do some research as we have taken enough rest"
I said "But don't pressurise yourself okay?"
Leo said "yes we won't"
Andrew said " btw u r tired eat something and take rest"
I said to Andrew " I already ate at ray's house..... Yes I will take rest little bit later, I'll get freshen up"
And andrew nodded his head.
I went to my room got freshen up called alina explained her everything she then asked me if I remember the boxes where we kept all the old antics, memoirs and souvenirs when we shifted here. I said yes to her and she then told me to check them if we can get any clue from their. I agreed with her because the best way to get to know what happened in the past is to dig out it again properly and join all the clues. After calling her I went into the attic by myself I didn't wanna bother them. I took out the boxes and sat on the floor. There were alot writings on pieces of parchments I collected them and put it in a corner then I saw alot of things were inside it. There was a necklace but it was broken its other half wasn't there. I saw a little box but wasn't able to open it I didn't have the keys to it. I found a photo frame it was a picture of my parents together when they were younger. I found a diary too but the diary was blank. There was a bracelet also. I think I remember someone wearing I saw this its not my mom's for sure.... Ughhh.... Who was it.... Ahhh its my aunt's she used to were this. My mother's sister was one of the most powerful witches ever. Its mainly in our hereditary that every generation has one most powerful witch in my mom's generation it was her sister but the wierd part was that in my generation no one was the most powerful witch, me and alina had equal powers, strange isn't it? My aunt went missing after that war I don't even know if she is alive or not I tried to find her but it was useless. I took everything to my room put them in my closet. Then someone knocked my door and entered the room it was leo and he sat on my bed, I also went to him sat by his side and smiled. He said "just thought to talk to u little bit as I knew u were not asleep"
"Yeah"
He took my hands in his hands and said "I know u won't tell everyone because they may start worrying but ik u have something on your mind and I think u should say it"
He actually was right, alot was in my mind and I can't even lie to him.
I said to him "this past of ours is really puzzling my mind. I moved on from it just like u guys did but few things were always in my mind like why our memories like all of us all r blurred so much, what was the cause of the war.... Plus one thing umm..."
"If u want to just say it just say and yes I was always curious about it but I thought its best not to think about it but now when our past is again coming up we need to get to know the truth"
"Yes leo plus the other thing..... I never said this u r the 1st person I am saying Idk why I really feel connected to Ray the time I saw him 1st time it wasn't a feeling that I was seeing him for the 1st time its like I have known him for years, I feel like there is something between us but what don't know. He seemed no stranger to me when I first saw him"
"Maybe u saw him earlier anywhere"
"No that's not possible because he shifted few months ago only"
"How r u sure that they said the truth? We all have so many secrets which no one even knows"
"So u r saying u r suspicious on them?"
"I am not saying suspicious its just that we do not always say everything anytime or to everyone due to some reason"
"I agree... And yeah tysm I feel more eased now...."
"Ik ik I am expert in giving u ease so no more keeping things by yourself okay?"
"Okay and I will say some stuff to u later after my own little search"
"Take your time but don't take all the pressure all by yourself"
And then he patted my head and ruffled my hair while saying "take rest". We exchanged smiles and then he went out of the room and closed the door. I seriously never thought we would be so good best friends because in our childhood we used to fight so much we couldn't even stand each other's presence but then a little incident happened which made us close. I don't exactly remember the age or which class i was in but I am sure it happened when we were in school. Leo and me where classmates
Flashback
After school when I was about to leave the school building I heard some sound which was mainly of someone in pain. My senses r really good because of being a witch. I went and saw 2 senior boys plus a classmate of ours were bullying and beating leo and leo was so much in pain there were wounds everywhere. I won't let them hurt any friend of mine even if we r not in good terms idc. I ran towards them and stood between the bullies and leo, and blocked their way I said to them in a really fierce way.
"Why r u guys doing this to him?"
One of them said "oh my... Little pathetic girls like u shouldn't interfere into boys work.... So go away from here and leave us"
I said to the bully "firstly I am not pathetic u r the pathetic one bullying people everywhere.... I have no interest in fighting... Just leave leo and don't disturb him anymore"
One of them said "challenging me huh? Wanna fight me? U r so weak
U can't do anything to me and why would I leave leo its fun too see him in this pathetic state and to make him suffer"
I said to them while giving death glares "trust me u don't wanna try me". I can't use my magical powers because we r not allowed to use infront of humans and as i am young my powers r not still in fully control but I have huge strength in my muscles. I just want to finish the matter at once as leo is highly wounded I need to aid him.
One of the bully said "what if we wanna try u" and was about to grab my collar. I smirked because they chose the wrong way. I stopped his hands and gripped his arm really hard that the bully wasn't able to even move his hand an inch. I said to them "u guys messed with the wrong person". I pulled his arm strongly because of that he lost balance and I threw him on the ground. The other 2 bullies were so afraid that they didn't even tried to come near me. They carried the bully whom I smashed on the ground and ran away. I turned to leo I wiped his tears and asked him "can u walk?"
He said "I can try". But the moment he tried to stand up he was about to fall I catched him by my arms. I crossed his arms around my shoulders and gave him full support and took him to the school infirmary. I carefully placed him on the clinic bed there was no one maybe the staff was preparing to leave the school building that's why. I told him to not to panic. I went to the attic where the first aid kid was kept took it and came to him. Firstly i washed his wounds. Before applying the meds I said to him while looking into his eyes "listen it will hurt a little more okay? But just trust me it will be alright". He nodded and I started applying the medicines he was hissing in pain. Then I started bandaging his wounds. I did his left leg then his hands. Only the scratches on his face were left. I held his face with my left hand and with other hand applied the meds and put small bandages on his face. Then I said "its done" and I noticed all the time he was looking at me. I looked away from him I felt little shy because of the eye contact. I said to him "so its done I'll go then bye" and as I was about to leave the room he........
