Where am I? Is this heaven? I am floating in the midst of nowhere. What kind of dimension is this. I focused on my vision more I see there stars so bright they r all around me I extended my hand to touch them and as soon as I touched them, they turned into beautiful star dust and scattered away. My body feels so light. I pushed myself more towards the stars while touching those beautiful stars I can't help myself without smiling. Wait a sec the mark on my hand why it's glowing? I hear something, a really faint sound. Is it a voice or something. I pushed myself more towards that voice. The voice got clear its a female voice but where is it coming from I have no idea. The voice is saying "Christina my child listen to me carefully I have only this moment"
I asked to the voice "who r u?"
The voice said to me "you will get to know one day soon my child, now listen to me carefully u were destined to be here.... to meet them.... there had been sacrifices which were meant to be for an important purpose, don't let those sacrifices go to waste. Find yourself..... all your answers are within you. Don't let go of yourself. Believe in yourself."
Tears started falling from my eyes. What's happening to me? I have so many questions in my mind. I asked the voice "where was I destined? What sacrifices r u talking about? What should I find within me? Pls tell me. Who r u? What is all this? Pls don't leave me here.. tell me."
I looked all around to see where is the person. I kept on Calling her no response. My mark started glowing it was turning from black to deep blue and end parts purple. What's all this?
Then I woke up from the dream all panting and tears continuosly falling from my eyes. Why am I feeling like this? Where am I? I turned around and saw ray who was sitting on the floor while his head resting on the side of the bed which I am laying right now. He is asleep. I was laying down so I tried to pull myself to a proper sitting position. I hissed in pain which woke ray up. Ray opened his eyes he looked into my eyes and said "you are awake finally". He pulled himself up, sat on the bed and hugged me. He said to me "I am so happy u r awake.... I am so happy." I felt my shoulder area dampened. Is he crying? I broke the hug. He was also in tears just like me. I rubbed his tears away with my fingers and asked "don't cry. Why r u crying?". He tried to calm himself and said "I thought I lost u..... And seeing u awake gave my soul back". He rubbed my tears away too and asked "why r u crying?". I said "idk" and explained everything I saw in the dream. But then I realised what am I doing here ?and how am I freaking alive? I removed the blanket and pulled my shirt little up and saw my stomach area which was covered by long bandages. I pulled my pants up upto my thighs and saw there was one band aid near my left leg's lower thigh area and on right leg just above my ankle area and on my palm of my left hand, on my right hand just above the wrist area plus on the side of my neck, I touched my face and there was a lil band aid on my left cheek too. I guess ray was noticing I was panicking like hell and he cupped my face and said "calm down Christina". I asked "what happened? How am I alive? What r u doing here?". He put his finger on my lips and said "shhh calm down I'll explain everything" and he let go of my face. Ray started explaining everything "Let me start from the part when u left your house. U had a vision right?" I nodded. He continued "U closed your eyes for a moment and I noticed that so I was about to ask u did u had any visions but as soon as your vision ended u said u need some fresh air. A lie ofc I could say that because u didn't said anything about your vision and suddenly u r saying u wanna go outside. And when u went away from us I got highly suspicious but I knew u had your reasons so I also said to the guys I needed some fresh air as well because those things were draining me too which was ofc all a lie. I soon found u, u definitely didn't saw me because of my vampire speed then u teleported. I was confused where should I go I didn't knew where u teleported. Then I started having an impulse where u could be and that impulse was coming from the ring which I am still wearing on my ring finger which we found in your little box and I am so sure about that because these rings aren't just ordinary rings. I started getting sort of unclear visions where u could be and the more I was getting closer to u the impulse was getting stronger". As ray was speaking I noticed I was too still wearing that ring which was on my ring finger.
"I saw u laying on the forest ground almost dead. I came to u with my vampire speed and at that time it started raining. I called your name several times while holding u in my arms but u were already unconscious. You were fully drenched with blood and rain. I carried u in my arms to my house" I asked him "how did u got over your bloodlust? The amount I was bleeding no vampire could resist himself or herself plus my blood is not just an ordinary blood like human"
He said "Ik it was really hard for myself. My mind was a huge mess. My mind conflicts where at its worst. But somehow I controlled myself and calmed my bloodlust and carried u back home. I really would have lost control but I was able to control myself because it was you I can never lose u".
"Thank u so much ray..... I can't say in words how much I owe to u. U saved my life...u granted me my life. I am thankful to u with all my heart"
He said " Atleast u r back and safe that is the most imp thing to me right now." And he then tucked my hair behind my ear.
I asked him "how did u save me? the wound in my stomach was with demon's dagger" He said to me with his eyes widened " demon's dagger?" I said yes and explained everything what happened in the forest. Then he calmed himself and answered my question "yeah the wound was really deep it was really hard to stop your bleeding but fortunately my healing powers were good enough to stop it. Even the other small wounds u got on your body I guess by falling were getting worse too maybe because of the wound on your stomach as u said it was demon's dagger and as zen said it has ancient magic so it has the power to trigger other wounds. I was waiting for u when u will get up after treating your wounds but accidentally fell asleep. " He continued with a sigh "So the demons are behind this". He then patted my hair and said "its been really hard for u, u were really strong". Then suddenly something clicked my mind "how much time I was concious?" He said "five hours?"
My eyes widened "WHAT? What will I say to my gang? I can't say them this incident it will make the situations worse as they will get so worried plus they all would get busy in taking care of me and I can't let them waste their time one me when those demons r on search and be distracted"
"Don't worry Christie... I already gave your gang an excuse already. I said to them while I was out I found u and we went to hangout some places to refresh our minds. We will soon be back. As u lied to them when u went out so I thought there would be a definite reason to do that u won't just hide something from them u love them alot"
I gave a sigh of relief.
He continued the conversation "but promise me one thing u will never repeat this again ik u told me that u didn't wanted to risk our lives but your life is important to us as well. We will fight and protect each other together so u will never hide anything from us"
I nodded my head and said"I promise. I realised my mistake. I'll never repeat it"
He said to me "take rest I'll bring some coffee for u"
"Wait how do uk I love coffee?"
"Just a guess maybe" and he shrugged his shoulders.
My eyes suddenly went on what I was wearing. I was wearing a long thick black shirt which had half sleeves and long dark brown pants. These r not my clothes. I slightly peeked under my clothes I am not wearing my under garments. My eyes got widened and I looked at ray. I gulped and asked with a broken voice hesitatingly "did u.... changed my... clothes?". He said "yes I had no choice as u lied to them so I couldn't get any help, your clothes were soaked with blood and rain so I needed to change your clothes plus they were really torned too and yes I needed to properly apply the bandages too. Though your bleeding stopped but your wounds aren't fully healed. And don't worry I wrapped your whole body with a long thick towel while changing your clothes so I didn't saw a thing"
I gulped again and pointing towards him with my Finger "U changed my clothes"
Ray said "yes I did" with a confused look. Ray's eyes got widened
Ray pov
Holy shit I didn't realised. I changed her clothes. I am a boy and I changed an opposite gender's clothes. Oh god Why I didn't I realised earlier what she is meaning to me. Though I didn't saw a thing because I wrapped her whole body with a towel while I was changing her clothes. I was so damn worried about her I didn't even realised I changed a girl's clothes. She would be so embarassed. I myself is so embarassed.
Christina pov
His face was getting red and started looking towards the ceiling to avoid eye contact. My face was getting so red as well because of the awkward tension between us at the moment. I took the pillow and threw it lightly on his face out of embarrassment. He asked me "what was that for?". I said to him while avoiding eye contact "u deserve it". He then said "umm I'll bring the coffee" and he rushed away from the room and closed the door. Oh god this is so embarassing and awkward at the same time. Though he didn't saw me naked but still he changed my clothes. I am seriously gonna die out of embarrassment. I kicked my legs in the air out of embarrassment. Oh shit it hurts I am still injured I forgot
Ray pov
I quickly ran away from the room and closed the door. I leaned on my back on the door. I am hell ya embarrassed. How will I face her this is so awkward. I touched my lips and started thinking but that kiss......
