Summer Ford was somewhat surprised that he came so suddenly. She raised her head, her gaze meeting his through the nocturne, and she was a bit astonished.
Ethan Laurent stood in the courtyard, under the dim and hazy light, his deep and serene eyes quietly staring into hers, like an unfathomable lake. Summer couldn't discern the turmoil in his eyes.
"Ethan, you're here!" Angela looked at him, then at her, realizing her presence was inappropriate, and went inside first, "You two chat! I'll go in first!"
The large garden, for a moment, only contained Ethan Laurent and Summer Ford.
Ethan Laurent stared at Summer Ford for a long time, his thin lips slightly moving, his voice as clear and cold as ever, "Let's have dinner together tonight!"
"Okay." Summer Ford hesitated for a moment, then agreed.
She guessed he must have something to say to her, and it just so happened that she also needed to talk to him.
