She still hadn't come out after half an hour, so he turned and headed straight to her room.
Outside her door, he intended to push it open directly as usual, but hesitated for a moment. Instead, he knocked, "Summer!"
The room was quiet, with no sound to be heard.
"Summer?" Ethan knocked again.
The bedroom remained quiet, and Summer Ford's response did not come.
"Summer!" Ethan froze for a moment and contemplated with lowered eyes. As he was about to forcefully push the door open, it was pulled open automatically.
Summer Ford stood at the door, raised her head, and silently gazed at him with slightly hoarse voice, "I'm ready, we can go!"
Ethan squinted slightly, subtly observing her.
Summer's voice was slightly unusual, her eyes were a bit red, but nothing else seemed out of the ordinary.
Her complexion was even very calm, as if nothing had happened.
She bypassed him and walked straight out.
