He sighed as he watched her up on the stage.
She had cut down every single person who challenged her.
He didn't even want to be here in this first place, however…
He began fidgeting with his sword as he looked over at a group of men that had been watching him from afar.
This was his only way out.
With a deep breath, he decided it was time.
Finally, he worked up the courage to face this devil woman.
He climbed the stairs with a small fire in his light brown eyes, but the sweat dripping from his brow couldn't fool her. She studied him for a moment; his face was moderately good-looking, and despite his lack of training in physical activity leaving him too skinny. Yet, his spiritual power is what impressed her.
Once he stood tall on the stage he called her out.
"How can you call yourself the winner? You clearly cheated and misled not only The King but all of us as well! Throwing daggers is cheating!" he announced in a righteous tone, while the rowdy crowd quickly agreed with him.
Unshaken, staring her new victim down, her smile remained as radiant as ever "I don't see any rules, do you?" Her brows raised in amusement.
"That doesn't matter! It's common decency, not like a woman like you would know anything about!" He retorted.
Rolling her eyes at this idiot, she sighed.
"Fine I won't fight you with daggers, happy?"
He agreed too quickly.
"Yes!"
With blinding speed she unhooked her cloak and tossed it to the side, "Great! Now, let's begin." Her piercing grin shinned brilliantly while she ran at top speed towards the man wielding her sword.
Despite being temporarily frightened by her fierce blood thirsty look, he managed to lift his own sword just in time to stop her blade from colliding with his neck.
Panting, his eyes widened with fear. This little devil was really strong!
The strike rang throughout his entire body, even making his hands shake in pain. But he valued his life too much and stuck through the pain. Her silver eyes were dangerously close enough for him to get lost in.
"Congratulations, the first one to not be instantly killed by my hands today!" she giggled very enthusiastically.
Now he was more frightened by her light attitude then her blood thirsty one, she truly is crazy! A mad woman!
Even with his attempt to hold his sword against hers to stop her from completing the initial swing to his neck, she quickly began to suppress his counter measure. He could feel his feet beginning to slip as she pressed down harder with her sword. He had no choice but to withdraw his sword for a moment and spin back with lightning speed to face her.
Red faced and still panting, he forced himself to focus.
Twirling her magnificent sword, "What? Still think I'm cheating?" The Scarlet Rogue taunted, her sweet smile gone- replaced with an evil smirk.
Gnashing his teeth, he responded by launching the counter attack, only to be suppressed once more.
As the fight went on he became slower, while her attacks only grew faster and harsher. She wasn't even sweating!
