Peppy was an ordinary 22-year-old Chinese university student, standing about 1.65 meters tall. She attended classes whenever necessary and worked part-time during school holidays to earn extra allowance money and help cover her rent.
She lived alone in a small one-room apartment near her university. Across the street from her apartment were many stalls selling different kinds of street food, while numerous restaurants lined the alley nearby. Although the rent was slightly higher than staying in the school dormitory, she chose to live there because she loved the lively atmosphere and convenient food options.
Never did she know she will transmigrate to the another world that is so much different from the modern world that she lives in.

It was a lovely Monday morning, and Peppy was getting ready to head to school when something unsettling happened. While walking along the street, she accidentally bumped into a man in his forties. He had a scar across his forehead, wore torn clothes, and seemed heavily drunk.
The man glared at her with a chilling death stare after the collision. Even though it was not entirely her fault, Peppy quickly apologized. However, the moment she saw the frightening look in his eyes, she felt a wave of fear she had never experienced before.
Without wasting another second, she hurried away and rushed straight to school, the only place where she felt safe. Fortunately, nothing unusual happened for the rest of the day at school.
Peppy only has about three or four friends at school because she does not enjoy talking or interacting with others. She feels uncomfortable starting conversations with new people, so she eventually stopped trying to make new friends. However, she loves studying and enjoys reading different kinds of books, such as history, literature, art, cooking, and foreign languages. She has also learned to speak German, Korean, English, Japanese, Thai and Spanish.
By the time she left school, it was already 7 p.m. She intended to buy some food to take home for dinner while watching her K-drama. Since she had a huge appetite, she bought enough food for three to four people. After finishing her dinner, it was already 9 p.m. She then took a shower and worked on some assignments that were due the following week. After that, she went to bed at 11 p.m.
