"No—no—no!"
Thalia tried to get up from his lap, but he didn't let her.
"You said you're okay with anything…" William's expression shifted slightly, clearly thrown off by her sudden reaction.
"I meant the kiss!" Thalia corrected him quickly. "Look at how long your legs are… how are we supposed to make love here? In this freaking two-seater sports car?!"
"Isn't that more thrilling?" he said with a smile. Everything she said sounded cute to him right now. "And I think it's fine. My legs are long, but yours aren't…"
She frowned. "Are you dissing me?"
William let out a short laugh, clearly amused.
"I'm stating facts," he said casually.
Thalia narrowed her eyes at him, unconvinced. "Wah… and how do my short legs help with making love in a car? It would be the same—freaking uncomfortable."
"How would you know?" William's eyes narrowed slightly. "You've never tried it before, right?"
"No… means no, Mr. Carter…" she said firmly, rejecting him.
