"No—we can't!"
William quickly stopped the kiss, one hand pressing gently against Thalia's lips as both of them were already half laid back on the hospital bed, with Thalia practically on top of him after pushing him down earlier.
"The doctor said we can't," he continued, slightly out of breath. "Your body couldn't even handle it last time."
"No—see? I'm completely fine…" Thalia insisted as she pushed herself up slightly on top of him before turning left and right a little like she was trying to prove her point. "I'm okay. That time, it was just because I was new to that… feeling?"
She then raised two fingers confidently.
"I promise it won't happen again."
William could only stare at her for a few seconds.
"This isn't about your promise, Thalia…" he said tiredly. "We're talking about your body."
"But my body feels okay now," she argued immediately. "Look, I already woke up, I can walk, I can talk, and I don't even feel dizzy anymore."
