Chapter 15 - The Assassination

Streets of Bago

The streets were silent.

Over a thousand people were kneeling on the road.

One by one… they slammed their heads against the ground.

Blood spread across the asphalt.

Again.

And again.

And again.

The horrifying sound echoed through the empty street.

Then suddenly—

Every single person stopped moving.

At the exact same moment, their bodies began to levitate.

Their mouths opened wide.

A faint glowing mist began leaving their bodies.

Their souls.

All of them were being pulled out at once.

Standing nearby was a young boy.

He had completely black eyes.

He wore nothing special — just a plain purple T-shirt and blue jeans.

He watched calmly as thousands of souls floated toward him.

"Hm."

A small smile appeared on Nikhil's face.

"Now all of you belong to me."

"You are my slaves."

The souls slowly began returning to their bodies.

But something about them had changed.

"You will destroy the Forest Organization."

"I will grant you power."

The boy's black eyes shined faintly.

Forest Organization Mansion

Underground Library

Manasvi slowly calmed herself.

The anger from reading Tom Kaiser's diary was still burning inside her.

But she forced herself to focus.

Remembering the past would not help her now.

She finished reading the diary and closed it.

Manasvi sighed.

"So this was just that bastard Tom Kaiser's personal diary…"

She placed the book aside.

Then she picked another book from the shelf.

Dust covered its surface.

She blew the dust away and examined it.

"Huh?"

"This thing is tiny."

The book was barely the size of a cheap school notebook — the kind sold for 10 rupees in local shops in India.

It only had 20 pages.

And only 12 pages were written.

Manasvi sat down and began reading.

Research Notes – Tom Kaiser

"Athorix."

"The substance we use to push humans beyond their natural limits."

"With it, humans can achieve feats that would normally exist only in fantasy."

"But today… after 35 years of research, I have finally discovered something incredible."

"I have discovered the origin of Athorix."

"Athorix is a cosmic stone containing an immense amount of power."

"What we currently use is only 27% of its true potential."

"I cannot even imagine how powerful a human would become if they used the full power."

Tom Kaiser's writing became more excited.

"However, I can estimate it."

"Code 29 — Manasvi — already possesses enough power to destroy a planet."

Manasvi paused.

"…Too much reading comprehension."

But she continued reading.

"If 27% of the power allows destruction equal to a planet…"

"Then 100% would produce roughly 3.7 times that energy."

"For comparison, the gravitational binding energy required to destroy Earth is approximately

 joules."

"With full Athorix power… a being could potentially destroy planets five times larger than Earth."

Manasvi rubbed her temples.

"…My head hurts."

She flipped to the next page.

"This stone originates from the Realm of the Below."

"The realm where demons and cursed gods reside."

"It is also one of the most precious creations of the Creator."

Tom Kaiser's writing grew more serious.

"I never believed in gods or cosmic entities before."

"But later I learned something shocking."

"The founder of the Forest Organization… is an Angel."

"And the Forest Organization does not exist only on Earth."

"It exists on multiple habitable planets across the cosmos."

Manasvi slowly lifted her head.

"…What?"

The diary continued.

"The Realm of the Below is an infinite-dimensional space outside our universe."

"Long ago, a conflict occurred between two Primordials."

"During that battle, fragments of Athorix leaked into our universe."

"Those fragments eventually solidified into the stones we use today."

Another note followed.

"I also heard from the founder of the Earth branch that the cosmos contains infinite universes."

"So the multiverse theory is real."

Manasvi slowly leaned back in her chair.

Her mind was spinning.

The final pages contained a warning.

"There is a rule within the Forest Organization."

"Never attempt to contact a Primordial."

"The Angel founder said that Primordials are beings capable of destroying the entire creation."

"They could annihilate all Eight Realms that support existence."

The page listed only two.

Realm of the Below

Realm of Spirits

The remaining realms were left blank.

Manasvi stared at the page.

"Eight realms…"

Her voice was barely a whisper.

"And only two are known…"

Manasvi slowly closed the book.

She took a deep breath.

The words written in Tom Kaiser's notes kept echoing in her mind.

Never attempt to contact a Primordial.

Manasvi leaned back in her chair.

"I already know about two of the realms," she murmured.

"The Realm of Spirits and the Realm of the Below."

"But I didn't know they were pillars supporting existence itself."

Her eyes narrowed slightly.

"This world is far more mysterious than I thought."

After a moment she smirked.

"This Tom Kaiser guy probably knows even more than Michael."

Her smile widened.

"I should just kidnap him."

"He must be some old geezer by now."

Six Hours Later

10:30 PM – Forest Organization Mansion

Flaemero finally returned to the mansion and entered the master bedroom.

The lights were dim.

Suddenly—

Someone hugged him from behind.

"Asuko" wrapped her arms around him tightly.

"Why did you come so late?" she whispered softly.

"I was craving for you."

She pressed her body against him.

Flaemero smiled faintly.

He was still wearing the same formal outfit from the ball.

"Did you feel lonely?"

He turned around.

In the next moment he pinned her onto the bed.

He leaned closer.

Their faces inches apart.

Then he kissed her.

That was the moment Manasvi had been waiting for.

In a single instant—

She bit down.

With terrifying force she ripped out his tongue.

Blood exploded from his mouth.

Before Flaemero could react—

Manasvi activated Repulsion Magic.

The entire space warped.

Both of them were instantly transported into the Mirror Dimension.

A world created by Manasvi herself.

Flaemero stumbled backward.

Blood poured from his mouth.

His eyes widened in shock.

Manasvi slowly floated into the air.

Her appearance changed.

The disguise vanished.

Her original face returned.

A few drops of Flaemero's blood were still on her cheek.

She wiped them away with her thumb.

Her expression was calm.

Cold.

Then she raised her left hand.

Lightning exploded from her palm.

The electricity twisted and formed the shape of a massive dragon made of lightning.

Then she raised her right hand.

A second attack formed.

A gigantic sphere of lightning.

The sphere was enormous.

Its size rivaled the entire Himalayan mountain range.

The atmosphere of the mirror world began to collapse under the pressure.

Manasvi slowly brought both hands together.

The lightning dragon and the giant sphere fused.

The energy compressed into a single weapon.

A spear of pure lightning.

Meanwhile Flaemero tried to activate his ability.

His body began shifting toward his Phantom State.

But it stopped.

His eyes widened.

My powers…

I can't use them.

Inside his mind a realization struck.

Power nullification…

Did she nullify my abilities through physical contact?

Manasvi possessed a rare ability.

Power Nullification by Physical Contact.

It could suppress the abilities of anyone equal to or weaker than her for one minute.

And that minute was more than enough.

Manasvi pointed the lightning spear at him.

"Goodbye."

She threw it.

The spear surpassed the speed of light.

The moment it touched Flaemero—

His head was instantly vaporized.

The explosion that followed was catastrophic.

The mirror world shook violently.

Nearly 90% of the Earth inside the Mirror Dimension was destroyed by the blast.

Manasvi herself was caught in the explosion.

But she survived with only minor injuries.

Smoke and lightning filled the destroyed world.

But something remained.

Flaemero's soul.

Manasvi could see souls.

The glowing spirit lunged toward her body.

Trying to possess her.

But before it could reach her—

Manasvi opened a portal.

She stepped out of the Mirror Dimension.

Leaving Flaemero's soul trapped inside forever.
