Julian took Loretta around the executive floor himself.
He introduced her to the senior staff and explained how the different departments worked together, making the tour feel less like a formal introduction and more like he was personally making sure she knew her way around.
Eventually, he stopped in front of a door.
"This is yours."
Loretta looked at him. "Mine?"
Julian opened the door.
She stepped inside and stopped.
The office was spacious, bright, and tastefully furnished. A large desk stood near the windows, with a comfortable seating area on one side and everything she would need for her work already arranged neatly in place.
Loretta stared around the room. "This is my office?" She could not believe it. Even if Julian had promised her the best treatment, she still did not expect that much.
Julian smiled. "Of course. Look around and tell me if there is anything you don't like, and I will have it changed."
