Loretta had underestimated how much she had drunk.
The wine had tasted sweet, and after everything that had happened during dinner, she had not really cared how many glasses she finished. By the time she finally decided to go upstairs, the faint warmth in her chest had turned into a pleasant heaviness.
She walked down the corridor, one hand lightly touching the wall for balance.
When she reached a door, she pushed it open without looking. She had no idea she was entering the wrong room.
A few minutes later, Loretta stepped out of the bathroom wearing nothing but a bathrobe. She wondered since when she had that bathroom in the bathroom but figure she might not have just noticed it before after all she had only been using the room for a few days.
Her hair was still slightly damp, and her eyes were heavy with sleep, she barely noticed the man who had just walked through the door.
