Shortly after Stanley and his family had settled inside, another car pulled up in front of the mansion.
Lydia glanced toward the entrance.
"Madam, that's Mr. Silas Goodman."
Loretta looked up and immediately recognized him. She had met Silas at the wedding, so she did not need an introduction.
Silas walked into the mansion with an elegant woman beside him.
"Loretta," he greeted with a smile. "It's good to see you again."
"Uncle Silas," Loretta replied politely.

Samantha smiled warmly as she looked at Loretta, "So you're Loretta. I've been looking forward to meeting you."
Loretta returned her smile, she could not tell if Samantha was sincere but she decided to play along. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
Samantha continue to smile and handed her a gift. "I was not at the wedding so I will take this chance to welcome you into the family."
