Sheldon left Kevin's office with a dark expression. He had not expected the conversation to end this way.
He had gone there believing he could negotiate with Kevin, perhaps offer money, a business deal, or some other favour in exchange for the antidote.
Instead, Kevin had given him one condition. 'beg loretta.'
Sheldon clenched his fists as he entered the elevator. He hated the idea of lowering himself to beg Loretta for forgiveness, but the image of his daughter lying helplessly in a hospital bed made him swallow his pride.
He had no choice, so after getting into the car he headed to Kevin's house.
When he arrived, he was stopped at the gate. "I am Sheldon Goodman, here to see Loretta," he stated his purpose.
"Mr. Goodman, Madam Loretta is not at home." The person by the door informed him.
"Where did she go?" He asked.
The guard remained expressionless, I'm sorry, sir. I don't have that information."
Sheldon frowned, "I'm her Kevin's uncle and I need to see her."
