Kevin's office
"Where is the new resort project?" Kevin looked up from his computer and asked Andy.
"SL," Andy replied. He felt that his boss could not possibly forget something like that.
"Book a plane ticket, I will like to inspect it tomorrow," Kevin said.
Andy looked at his boss, although his boss made last minute decisions to inspect project and sites but he could not help but think, his visit to SL this time was because of Loretta.
"Sir, there is a flight for nine pm today and another by seven am tomorrow. Which would you prefer?" Andy asked carefully.
Kevin tapped on his table for a while.
"Tonight," Kevin said.
Andy nodded and immediately got to work.
Eleven pm that evening the two settled on the best room in same hotel as Loretta, even if they could have gotten something better and closer to the site Kevin was there to inspect.
The hotel Loretta was staying was at the other part of town and would take over and hour to travel one way.
This confirmed Andy's thought but to his surprise, after arriving, Kevin washed up and went to sleep without asking any questions.
The next morning Kevin woke up got dressed and they both left the hotel and went straight to the resort site. It was a visit without pre information . Those in charge were shocked.
Everyone got to work. Kevin just inspected the project. Everyone knew his reputation so no one dared to play tricks under his nose.
During lunch break, Andy had gone to use the restroom when he heard someone making a call.
"Thank God I did not listen to your advice, I did be sitting in the prison this afternoon,' the man said.
The assistant could not hear what the other person said but the man making a call laughed. "He arrived early this morning to inspect site. I wonder if he had three heads. In just one morning he inspected half the site and started reviewing documents. If I had reduced the quality in the slightest he would have noticed," the man said.
The person from the other end kept speaking but the assistant left the restroom.
Kevin eat his lunch as usual and he incepted every documents. By evening, he noticed an in consistency with a document and the supply. The difference was not big, but Kevin never tolerated people cutting conners.
He immediately started an investigation. It turns out that the supply was the one playing risks. He wanted to make more profit, so he brought in less. Each carton of goods had a few pieces missing.
"Terminate the contract and get someone more honest," Kevin instructed the engineer in charge.
He then pointed out a few mistake. "I will be here for a few days to check on the other part," Kevin said.
He left and returned to the hotel, He had his dinner and then started a meeting with his overseas branch.
Andy wanted to suggest more than once if he wanted to see Loretta but he bite the words back into his mouth.
The next day, Kevin went out before breakfast, this time he did not go to the resort site. He visited two of their branch office.
The first branch was okay, a few mistake which he let go of but when he arrived at the second branch it was lunch time and the company loby was in chaos.
The moment Kevin stepped into the company lobby, a loud slap echoed through the hall.
A woman in her fifties was grabbing a young lady by the hair while shouting angrily.
"You shameless thing! Seducing married men at your age!"
The young woman looked terrified. Her face was red from crying while she tried to pull away helplessly.
"I did not do anything!" she cried. "Madam please let go of me!"
Another slap landed across her face.
The employees standing around looked uncomfortable, yet no one dared step forward.
The woman looked completely hysterical. "Still denying it? You think I do not know why my husband keeps defending you?"
Andy frowned immediately. "What is security doing?" he muttered. The security looked at each other but no one dared step forward.
"Enough."
Kevin's voice was not loud, yet the entire lobby instantly fell silent.
The middle-aged woman paused while still holding the intern's arm.
Everyone turned toward Kevin.
The branch manager who had rushed downstairs nearly fainted the moment he saw him.
"P-President Kevin!"
The employees instantly became nervous.
The woman looked confused at first, but before she could speak, Kevin's cold gaze landed on her hand gripping the girl.
"Let her go."
Something about his tone made the woman subconsciously release the intern immediately.
The young girl stumbled backward, crying heavily.
Kevin glanced toward the branch manager. "Explain."
Sweat immediately formed on the manager's forehead. "Sir, this…" He looked toward the woman nervously. "This is Director Hale's wife."
"And?" Kevin asked coldly.
The manager swallowed hard. "She accused the intern of having an affair with Director Hale."
Kevin's eyes moved toward the young intern. Her clothes looked messy from being dragged around while there were visible red marks on her wrist.
"Did you have an affair with the director?" Kevin asked directly.
The entire lobby became silent.
The young intent Sophia was frightened but immediately shook her head while crying. "No sir! I swear I did not! Director Hale kept asking me to have dinner with him but I always refused! I even tried avoiding him!"
The wife laughed mockingly. "You expect me to believe that? Why would my husband suddenly care so much about an intern? You seduce him?"
Sophia's face turned pale. "Madam, I really did nothing wrong…"
Kevin looked toward Andy. "Call HR. I want every work record, surveillance footage, and internal communication involving Director Hale and this intern within the last three months."
The entire lobby froze.
The branch manager's face lost color.
"Right away, sir," Andy replied immediately.
The wife suddenly looked uneasy. "There is no need to make such a big issue out of this family matter."
Kevin finally looked at her directly. "You assaulted an employee inside my company lobby."
The woman instantly went silent.
Within half an hour, the entire branch office entered panic mode.
Everyone involved was called into the meeting room.
Kevin sat at the head of the table while several department heads stood nervously nearby.
Sophia sat quietly at the side with swollen eyes while Director Hale had also been dragged over after hearing the president himself was involved.
The moment Director Hale entered and saw Kevin, his face turned pale.
"P-President Kevin…"
Kevin threw a file onto the table.
Inside were printed chat records.
Messages.
Repeated invitations, late-night harassment and Promises of promotion.
Sophia had rejected every single one.
The room became deadly silent.
It is not that no one wanted to cover up for the Director, they were all to scared of Kevin to dare lie.
Kevin's gaze turned ice cold. "You used your position to harass an intern?"
Director Hale instantly panicked. "Sir! It was just harmless jokes!"
"Harmless?" Kevin's voice became colder. "You threatened to ruin her internship evaluation after she rejected you."
Director Hale's legs nearly gave out.
The wife looked stunned while staring at the evidence. "You…" She slowly turned toward her husband in disbelief.
Director Hale quickly tried to explain himself. "Honey listen to me—"
"Keep your domestic fight out of my company," Kevin's voice stopped the couple.
He understood a woman like Mrs Hale, knowing her husband was having an affair she came after the woman instead of her cheating partner. Her behavior was irritating, he did not care if she knew the truth or not.
Director Hale looked completely ashamed.
Sophia lowered her head silently while trembling slightly.
Kevin looked toward HR.
"Director Hale is terminated effective immediately."
The entire room became silent again.
Kevin continued coldly, "As for the harassment case, the legal department will handle it according to company policy."
Director Hale's expression instantly became desperate. "President.. please! I have worked for the company for fifteen years!"
Kevin looked at him without emotion.
"precisely because of that, you will face the full weight of the law,"
No one in the room dared speak again.
Kevin then looked toward Sophia.
"You are under company protection from this moment onward. No one will retaliate against you for this matter."
Sophia's eyes instantly turned red again.
"T-Thank you, sir…"
Kevin stood up calmly. "Also." His gaze swept across the room. "If something like this happens again and management ignores it, everyone involved will leave with him."
At that moment, the entire branch office understood clearly.Their president hated corruption. But he hated abuse of power even more.

"Sir, the Glandstone family reached out, they want to confirm the best date for engagement," Andy said as they left the branch office.
Kevin raised his brows, "Next Friday is fine," he said before getting into his car.
"Okay sir," Andy said. The assistant immediately called the Glandstone family and informed them. That day was a Friday so they had just one week to prepare.
