After making new friends Lena returned to her room to rest, she couldn't sleep as tomorrow is her first day as a soldier in training after a long time. As a princess of a noble house, she never learned to fight nor hunt but whereas her affinity to magic is outstanding she can be compared to a royal mage in terms of mana, but she can only use water and ice type magic.
In the morning she wakes up to the siren blow for morning drill, she couldn't take a bath rather she splashes some water on her face to appear clean and to wake up from her half sleep.
She rushes to the training yard there she catches up with Ken and Joel they wave at her to join them. Finally, the captain addresses them and introduce Lena as the new trainee soldier in their unit and begins the morning drill without wasting time. "Alright everyone in the formation now" he shouts this is the first time seeing this side of Martin for Lena, he shouts furthermore instructions and when he comes to Lena "chin up soldier and heels together, don't forget why you are here".
" Am I clear" he asks waiting for a response from her "yes sir" she blurts out loudly. After correcting her Martin move on to the next soldier for correction, Lena lets out a sigh of relief after he passes.
After checking on everyone Martin instructs them to do stretches before running laps for 7 times around the trail pathway. she couldn't keep up with others but tries hard to do so, seeing this Ken and Joel joined her and helped her by pushing gently by their hands on her back surprisingly this helps her to run faster and better than before noticing this makes Martin to smile, he is relived that she got friends to aid her in time of need.
After finishing the laps all the soldiers return to the formation just like before and is later dispersed by Martin. "Thanks for helping me back there guys" she says catching her breathe, 'don't mention it we are friends right and for your first time you did good, now freshen up before going to the food camp for breakfast as right after that the combat training will begin. "See you later" Joel leaves after informing her the details about the routine from morning till evening, followed by him Ken also leaves after saying goodbye.
After getting freshened up and finishing her breakfast, she heads up to the training ground for combat training as it is her first day Martin personally guides her and teaches only the basics first after seeing her failing terribly. "It is fine as it is your first day, you can perform well from tomorrow so get some rest. you don't have to do the afternoon duties focus on replenishing your strength".
She obeys his orders and returns to her room for freshen up, during bath she is ashamed of herself for performing poorly in the combat drill, she even doubts for a second whether she chose the right decision by coming here but that only lingers for a second, she is now determined to perform well and climb up the ranks by fusing her magical powers with her training. She tells herself that she is going to rock tomorrow, as a princess this is all new for her, but she wants to give it all to get revenge by retrieving her relic and getting an answer from her former lover who betrayed her.
