After the trio finished eating, they went outside of the food camp. "Ken let's go to our usual spot, what do you say Lena. There are no people around that place so you can share your story and we will share ours". Joel asks with determination and comically shining eyes.
"Alright then", Lena follows Joel to the said location. She can't believe her eyes; she would have never thought that the border of the outskirts of the realm to be this beautiful. You can see clearly the cosmic's magnificence and the majesty of the constellations. "Wow it's really breathtaking, how come others doesn't know of this area?". She asks intending to get an answer from Joel.
"Well others also know about this place, but they won't dare to come here". Seeing Lena's confused face Joel sheepishly smiles and explains "the thing is there is a rumour that someone saw a scarlet eyed demoness around this area, that is why the captain advised others to not come here".
Lena laughs "you all are trained royal guards of the heaven and still you are afraid of a single demoness". Joel interjects "no Lena don't you know that scarlet eyed demonesses are highly intelligent and predates only when its target is alone and no one can find it, but still now no one is killed nor saw it recently".
Lena sits on a neatly smoothed tree bark apparently the work of her new friends "I intend to ask you guys a question". Ken gestures to go ahead with her question, " why are there only few members in our camp I thought that there would be many guards stationed here?".
"Well, that's because we are the 17th Royal Guards Unit, we consist of 36 members if we include you that will be 37". He sighs "we only act as the personal guards for the noble, but our captain was a former member of the 5th Inquisition Battalion which reports directly to the heaven. Lord Leon was his former commander, now you know where his loyalty comes from". He sighs again "but he got on bad terms with the people above him hence he was demoted to here".
Lena nods her head "that explains how I got accepted here", Ken disagrees with her "you say that because you haven't undergone the training yet, it will be a hell of an experience for you tomorrow when your first training starts'.
"I am up for anything that comes at me" she says with enthusiasm. Joel eyes her sarcastically "big words from a newcomer and you still didn't talk about yourself that is the reason we came here on the first place, aren't we".
"I am sorry guys it's not that I don't trust you yet, it's because I have still not overcome my past trauma. So, I will tell you guys once I am ready". She says apologetically.
The two friends smile and look at each other for a second and tells Lena "Hey we are friends right there is no need to be so formal we are always here for alright" he looks at Ken, he too nods.
This begins a new chapter in her life she now has a new home, new friends and new life she isn't anymore the pampered princess of the Moon Palace.
