Chapter 1 - The Dream Begins

"I choose a reality where I can imagine everything and it will become the reality,"

said Satya in an ambitious tone.

"Oh, my Dreamer, then you may experience such a magical world,"

said The Black Skies.

"Wait, an important question before we begin:

what happens to my family and friends when I leave?

Won't they worry for me if I am gone for so long?

Wouldn't they tire themselves out trying to find me?"

asked Satya in a worried tone.

"Oh, Dreamer,

Worry not,

It will be just a night's sleep for them but for you it will encompass many lives.

Tonight, when you sleep, you will enter the magical world

But beware, for you won't be able to leave that world until you fulfill an extreme.

And Only in death will you get to converse with me,"

explained The Black Skies.

"Oh, then Let's begin the first dream,"

said Satya with determination.

"Then so be it; go home and sleep,"

said The Black Skies.

Satya went into his room and lay down on the bed in an attempt to sleep.

But somehow, he didn't sleep;

instead, everything went black.

There was no sound.

In a magical world,

a woman was carrying some potatoes when she suddenly felt a pain in her stomach.

She was going into labor.

The woman had been anticipating this moment for months, but when it happened, it was still overwhelming.

She called out to her husband.

Her husband quickly attended to her and went out to call the women of the village.

The ladies gathered in the house.

Outside the house,

the mumbling of women could be heard.

They were frantically preparing hot water.

But something about the way they prepared the water seemed different from Satya's original world.

They chanted some words, and suddenly the wood began to burn,

and the water started boiling.

It was a magical sight,

but to the people of this world,

it was a normal sight.

In this world, everyone could use magic.

But using magic required going against reality itself, so it depended on the person's willpower.

After some time, the ladies came outside and told the farmer,

"Congratulations, you have a son, Ra.

He looks just like you."

The next day, the farmer and his wife were holding their son,

both of their faces filled with happiness,

as they said,

"Welcome Pahal to our little world."

The farmer, Ra, and his wife, Kriti,

were overjoyed at this moment.

After some years...

When Satya was 3 years old,

They don't have a calendar system here, That's why people count age by seasons.

But he still counted his age as he used to do in his original world.

After some time,

Satya began to learn how to talk .

And seeing how his parents cared for him, he began to realize the love hidden in parents,

[For a parents love is the greatest love in this tiny world

My mother feeds me with a love so pure that I can't help but be mesmerized by it.

I had never thought that I would see another woman with the same love as I saw in my mother, but now it's different.

She is like a mother to me.

No, not like a mother—

she is a mother to me,]

thought Satya.

"Pahal, come here! It's time to eat!"

shouted my mother.

[I am a grown-up in a child's body, but I can't do anything except behave like a child.

For being a child is the only time in the world where everyone is kind to me for no reason other than being myself,]

[My mother then began to feed me some soup.

As I began to eat the soup,

slowly I realized that a mother's love is gentle.

Gentle like the slow fall of rain;

gentle like the sweetness of honey.

A mother's love can take many different shapes and forms, just like the clouds.

But like the clouds, it is gentle and soft in every form.]

After Some days when Satya was walking outside

[I have begun to notice some oddities that are different from my own world.

For example, the people here use magic, and from what I have seen, everyone can use it.

But they use it for the most fundamental things, such as lighting a fire.

However, even though they can make fire, they still require a source for the fire to stabilize.

And they chant some words for the spell, but I think I recognize these words from my past life.

I could be hallucinating,

or I could not be.

Only The Black Skies know.]

As Satya was playing with children and enjoying their games

[I am starting to understand that my emotions are mostly influenced by my body.

Because even though I am an adult,

I still feel the emotions of a child.]

Thought Satya.

After some days, Ra took Satya out to see the village.

[The village was like what I had heard of in books about olden times,

even though there were some oddities.]

Next, Ra took Satya to the wheat fields owned by his family.

They were just enough for a normal family

[Seeing the wheat fields,

I remembered a poem from my previous life that I had read:

"The golden glow of a rich wheat field

Fills the whole house with sweet smells

The birds sing and the crickets dance

To welcome the season of harvest."]
