Even as an absolute elite operative with world-class psychological training, the sheer, suffocating powerlessness he felt standing before an entity so vastly superior to humanity was something he never, ever wanted to experience again.
Arriving at the Triskelion, Sitwell knocked on Alexander Pierce's office door and entered upon receiving permission.
He had already transmitted a detailed encrypted report of the mission on the flight back. Seeing Pierce standing by the massive window overlooking the Potomac River, Sitwell immediately voiced his primary concern.
"Director," Sitwell began nervously. "Will the White Demon genuinely honor our agreement? Will he truly stay out of our way?"
Alexander Pierce turned away from the glass, looking at his most capable remaining subordinate. Ever since Crossbones had been reduced to ash, Sitwell was effectively his sole right-hand man.
Pierce looked visibly exhausted. He sighed softly.
"Even if he doesn't honor the agreement, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. Giving him the Obelisk was merely a desperate tactic to buy us some time.
"According to my deepest moles within the Pentagon, the military has initiated a brand-new, absolute final protocol against the White Demon. We just need to keep him placated until that protocol is executed!"
"But Director, the military's protocols against the White Demon have never succeeded!" Sitwell argued instinctively. "Not once!"
Pierce fell silent for a long moment before responding grimly.
"Our primary objective remains Project Insight. As long as we successfully launch those Helicarriers, HYDRA will officially become the absolute rulers of the planet.
"Once we control every single governmental, military, and corporate resource on Earth, I am absolutely certain we will find a way to execute him!
"Furthermore... I can't wait to see the look of absolute terror on Nick Fury's face when he finally realizes that SHIELD has been HYDRA all along. I wonder how the great spymaster will react?"
Thinking about his impending, glorious victory over his old friend, the deep furrows on Pierce's brow finally smoothed out. A victorious, highly satisfied smile spread across his face.
Seeing his superior's mood improve, Sitwell immediately offered a fanatic salute.
"Your grand design will succeed, Director. Hail HYDRA!"
Pierce returned the smile. "Hail HYDRA."
Outside the heavy oak doors of the office, the two heavily armed guards—formerly fanatic HYDRA operatives, now entirely brainwashed SU-IELD loyalists—heard the muffled exchange. They looked at each other and shared a knowing, highly amused smile.
They were also very much looking forward to the Director's reaction!

Back in Malibu, after 'escorting' Agent Sitwell off the premises, Su Mu casually used a localized gravitational pull to retrieve his clothes. He dressed himself lazily and tapped his foot lightly against the patio.
Utilizing the absolute, microscopic energy manipulation of the Six Eyes, a minuscule burst of cursed energy rippled outward from his sole. It swept across the patio, instantly and perfectly erasing every single drop of blood and speck of bone from the exploded HYDRA agents!
The environment was immediately restored to pristine condition. Using the Mind Stone to casually wipe the trauma from the minds of the screaming Hollywood actresses, Su Mu settled back into his training routine.
But he hadn't been training for long when the Six Eyes detected two distinct energy signatures rapidly approaching his airspace at high speed.
Unlike the mild annoyance he felt when the HYDRA agents arrived, Su Mu's eyes lit up with profound, genuine excitement upon recognizing the newcomers.
His delivery was finally here!
With a mere thought, a massive, sparking portal instantly materialized in the sky directly in the flight path of the approaching figures.
The portal opened so abruptly that Thor, who was propelling himself through the air with Mjolnir, couldn't react in time. He violently crashed straight through the gateway!
Bursting out of the portal, Thor instantly found himself hurtling directly toward Su Mu! Because of the sudden spatial jump, he couldn't recall his beloved hammer or alter his momentum. He was going to smash right into the White Demon!
Even knowing that Su Mu was incomprehensibly powerful, Thor didn't believe the boy could withstand a direct, kinetic impact from Mjolnir. After all, the hammer was forged in the heart of a dying star and enchanted by the All-Father himself! Unless one possessed physical strength rivaling or surpassing Odin, tanking a direct hit was functionally impossible!
"Su Mu! Move out of the way!" Thor roared frantically.
But Su Mu didn't budge an inch. His absolute attention was entirely focused on the frail human woman securely wrapped in Thor's other arm: Jane Foster!
Through the absolute energy vision of the Six Eyes, Su Mu could clearly see a violent, churning mass of crimson cosmic energy intertwined with her physical vessel. The energy was hotter than a supernova and more vast than a galaxy!
If that crimson mass were to instantaneously detonate, the resulting shockwave would easily erase the entire Milky Way! Yet, this apocalyptic cosmic power existed in a bizarre, fluid state, parasitically latching onto Jane's mortal body. It wasn't killing her instantly, but slowly, methodically draining her life force!
There was absolutely no doubt. It was the Aether. The Reality Stone!

Faced with the Asgardian hammer screaming toward his face, Su Mu casually raised a single index finger and gently tapped the flat face of Mjolnir.

The absolute, apocalyptic kinetic momentum of Mjolnir's flight was instantaneously reversed! Without losing a single fraction of a percent of its physical force, the energy was perfectly reflected right back into the hammer!
Furthermore, because Su Mu was feeling particularly excited, he subconsciously flared Cursed Technique Reversal: Red at the exact same moment, layering an apocalyptic spatial repulsion on top of the reflected momentum!

A deafening clap of thunder violently shattered the sky! The massively amplified kinetic force violently rebounded through Mjolnir, slamming directly into Thor's chest!
Thor was instantaneously launched backward! He violently crashed through the glass walls of the mega-mansion, skipped across the infinity pool, and plummeted hundreds of feet into the Pacific Ocean below, kicking up a colossal, dozens-of-meters-high tsunami!
Completely ignoring the God of Thunder he had just blasted into the sea, Su Mu reached out and firmly grabbed Jane Foster's wrist before she could fall.
He immediately activated the Level 4 Reverse Cursed Technique while simultaneously using the Six Eyes to meticulously analyze the Aether's reaction.
A deeply satisfied smile spread across his face. He had been right!
The absolute, conceptual restoration of the Level 4 Reverse Cursed Technique was fully capable of reverting the parasitic, fluid Aether back into its original, solid, crystalline state!
Gripping Jane's hand tightly, Su Mu looked deeply into her terrified eyes and spoke with absolute, heroic sincerity.

Jane, wide-eyed and trembling, frantically pointed past Su Mu's shoulder at the massive, apocalyptic tsunami that was about to violently crash down and swallow the entire cliffside mansion.
Su Mu finally remembered Thor.
Keeping a firm, continuous grip on Jane's hand to maintain the Reverse Cursed Technique, Su Mu casually raised his free hand toward the ocean.
An apocalyptic wave of repulsive force erupted from his palm, instantly obliterating the towering tsunami and violently flattening the churning ocean!
Immediately after, he flipped his technique. A terrifying, concentrated gravitational pull shot into the sea, perfectly locking onto Thor's submerged body hundreds of meters below the surface.

Caught in the absolute gravitational field of Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue, Thor was violently yanked out of the water, flying back toward the patio vastly faster than he had been flying with Mjolnir!
Even with his dense Asgardian physiology, taking a hyper-amplified hit from his own hammer had completely scrambled his brain. His consciousness was blurry, and it took him several seconds after landing on the patio to fully regain his bearings.
The moment his vision cleared and he saw Su Mu, the memories of the impact violently rushed back. He stared at the white-haired boy in absolute, reality-shattering disbelief.
"Su Mu... you... you just stopped Mjolnir... with a single finger?!"
In Thor's entire cosmic worldview, aside from his father, Odin, absolutely no one in the Nine Realms could physically halt a thrown Mjolnir! Let alone stop it with a single, casual tap of an index finger!
To Thor, the only logical explanation for someone overpowering Mjolnir's momentum was that they possessed the absolute physical and spiritual worthiness to wield it!
The thought that this chaotic, psychotic Earthling was "worthy" made Thor feel profoundly violated!
Because he was on the verge of claiming the Reality Stone, Su Mu was in an exceptionally good mood. He flashed Thor a brilliant, radiant smile.
"It's just a hammer, Goldilocks. Why are you acting so shocked?"
"Besides," Su Mu continued, his gaze drifting back to Jane. "Your girlfriend here... is absolutely fantastic. Oh, wait, my apologies! I meant the Reality Stone inside her is absolutely fantastic!
"I can safely extract the Stone for you. So... you can safely leave your girlfriend in my capable hands!"
Hearing that Jane's life could be saved, Thor should have been ecstatic. But looking at the way the White Demon was tightly gripping his girlfriend's hand and smiling at her... Thor suddenly felt like his metaphorical horns were glowing a very bright shade of green!
