Chapter 130 - Chap.127 - New Home

Seeing Rigel's movement, Ollivanders himself was shocked, approaching and touching Calypso's Patronus, leaving him filled with surprise, soon to the point where madness replaced him, looking at Calypso with evident excitement.

"The lady will do great things, of that I am certain." That was all Ollivander managed to say.

Rigel left the shop and returned with Calypso to the leaky cauldron, they would fetch the fireplace there for Hogsmeade.

Rigel did not prevent Ollivander from witnessing Calypso's power, the reason was quite simple, he hoped Ollivander would comment on Calypso's prowess, which would bring considerable prestige among wizards, and reputation would serve many purposes, most importantly, opening doors.

Basically, free marketing.

Rigel even considered threatening a certain nosy beetle to help spread Calypso's shop's word throughout the newspaper.

Of course, that would have to wait, it starts as a simple shop, then moves on to exclusive potions, the kind Calypso might discover or already knew from her previous world, although she had to adapt to this world, perhaps even some from Rigel. Once her influence is great enough, it might even lead her to become Minister of Magic.

Would it be useful to him? He didn't know, but it was better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

In the end, he set that aside for the time being, they reached the leaky cauldron and took the fireplace straight to the house, the ministry had already authorized the connection to Floo.

As for why not apparate directly with Calypso? The reason is quite simple, Calypso has never been to Hogsmeade.

It's ironic that she bought a house there.

They exited directly onto the first floor of the house, the place was already furnished. The first floor had clearly been transformed into a shop, the usable part had an L-shape, while the end part was where the stairs were located, leading up to the second floor or down to the basement. On the first floor, three wooden beams supported the ceiling.

In one of the corners, there was a wooden counter with several shelves behind it, on the sides of the shop, there were many more shelves, all ready to hold her potions.

Calypso looked around, satisfied. They hadn't gone upstairs first, instead, they'd left the house. From the outside, it seemed much smaller, three visible stories in dark wood. A projecting sign hung above the door, a small cauldron inscribed "Ichor of the Gods."

Calypso had clearly chosen the name.

They looked around, the street wasn't in the central part of Hogsmeade, but that was to be expected, although it wasn't very important for a potion shop. It wasn't like young wizards wanted to go in to buy a love potion, right?

Young Wizards:...

In the distance, Hogwarts was clearly visible, the gigantic castle atop the cliff visible even from afar.

Whether it was Rigel or Calypso, they felt the pressure of magic emanating from that place, not in a figurative sense, but in a real sense, that place exuded magic, clearly a focus of chaotic energy.

They observed for a while before entering, the upper floors were already furnished as well. Right in the living room, just off the stairs, above the fireplace, there was a painting.

Rigel looked at the painting with evident surprise.

In the painting, there was a ship sailing on the sea, a group of pirates, busy and moving around the ship, there, they moved as they sailed the sea in Ragnarok.

Rigel could see Will, Elizabeth, Anamaria, Clemens, Anna, Ragetti, Pintel, Cotton, Cotton's parrot, Marty, John, Billy, Jonas, Thomas, George, Jack the monkey, as well as Rigel himself and Calypso.

Everyone in the painting moved as usual, as if he had returned to those days.

"Did you like it?" Calypso let out a light laugh, making Rigel look at her. She winked at him and said. "I painted this myself. I thought you'd like something to remember it by. I asked Kreacher to hang it in a visible place."

Rigel stared at her expressionlessly for a long moment, then looked away, back at the painting. At some point, the crew had approached the side of the ship, all waving to him, making Rigel let out a soft laugh.

Looking away, he went to see the rest of the house.

Calypso looked at Rigel's departing figure with a slight smile on her face.

Shaking her head, she quickly followed him.

The rest of the house seemed to follow the same black wood tone as the Blacks' house, in fact, it was very similar. Rigel thought this was Calypso's doing as well, probably to make him feel more at home.

"Kreacher helped a lot, whether with the painting or the rest of the house." Calypso said as they looked at their room.

Yes, Rigel tried to get a different room, but Calypso just said she was going to get her things and move into his. In the end, he knew it was a fruitless fight, so he let her do what she wanted.

By this point, Rigel could tell that Calypso had probably been to the house before but had kept it from him to spring a surprise.

Kreacher arrived shortly after, with the rest of the moving stuff, he would stay here from then on. Jack had already run away as soon as he saw Kreacher. The elf merely narrowed his eyes, thinking of dealing with the monkey later.

After tidying up the house, Calypso went to her potion studio, which was in the basement. Kreacher, on the other hand, became the shop assistant on the first floor. Although the number of potions available was currently small, it would still take some time for Calypso's name to spread and for the place to become well-known.

Rigel went to practice his magic using the power of the coffin, there was less than a month left before the start of Hogwarts, and he would practice as much as he could.

He focused on the first-year material, he had known most of the spells for a long time, but was far from perfect. Besides reviewing the theoretical content, he could concentrate on his own things at Hogwarts.

He would even go down to Calypso's workshop from time to time to practice first-year potions with her, although these were quite easy for the woman, so she could give Rigel tips in real time.

It was a light but productive pace that was maintained until September 1st arrived.
