As soon as Ragnarok's bottled form appeared, a smoky black crown formed on Rigel's head. He wasn't crazy enough to pull Ragnarok out of the bottle right there in his room. Instead, seeing the small boat sailing in the bottle's storm, he tried to lure only the coffin out. Although he had never attempted this before, the task proved much easier than anticipated.
The next moment, a small black coffin flew away from Ragnarok. Rigel opened the bottle's lid, and the coffin sprang out. Rigel then closed Ragnarok bottle and stored it in the King's Treasury.
The coffin grew rapidly, lying on the ground with a hollow thud. Fortunately, Kreacher didn't appear, clearly mistaking this for Rigel practicing magic, it wouldn't be the first time.
Opening the coffin, Rigel took out the confused Salazar, before closing the coffin again and placing it in the King's Treasury.
The moment he entered, Rigel placed it as one of the phantom treasures, as soon as he did, Rigel felt the change.
That feeling was there again, but Rigel felt he needed to be asleep to activate the healing effect, which was a shame, but it was already very good. Apart from that, Rigel tried to feel the effect of the vampire transformation, but felt nothing. He frowned and projected the coffin, but although the coffin was projected, he felt it looked a little off.
"Hey, book, is the Final Transformation effect still active in this form?" Rigel asked.
[No, the coffin needs to use all its power for that, if the coffin isn't in the physical world, only a projection of it will be made, and it will break before transferring all its power to the "dead".]
Rigel frowned, he already knew that the Dragon's Dream and Vampire Sleep effects could be activated, but the Final Transformation effect could not, and what about Do Not Disturb?
Rigel tried to experience the effect himself, but couldn't, although he did manage to activate the effect when he was inside the designed coffin.
This made him unhappy, but at the same time it could be a way to hide at any time, he just needs to project the coffin and get inside it, although it was only a consolation prize at that point.
However, Rigel thought for a moment, entered the coffin and projected his crown, using his power to control objects, he made the coffin float.
Rigel was speechless, sitting there in the flying coffin, he felt that even for a wizard he was far above the standard of strangeness.
He tested the speed a little, unfortunately it was much slower than a broomstick, but the coffin could keep him hidden while he moved... so there were pros and cons.
Rigel tested other items, such as the compass. He removed it from the golden bookmark and placed it in the king's treasure in a phantom form. Rigel didn't even need to project it, deep in his mind, something seemed to be constantly pointing to what he desired. He felt it more like an intuition at that moment.
He could ignore it, or focus on it and follow his intuition, it was very helpful.
Rigel thought for a moment and decided against keeping the Compass in phantom form all the time, it was more convenient to keep the other items, even the bag, so he could take things out at any time.
If he needed to find what he wanted, it wouldn't be too late to exchange the 'Phantom' item.
Rigel also discovered that Phantom potions couldn't be 'bugged', unfortunately, he couldn't obtain an infinite supply. The moment he drank a Phantom potion, it disappeared completely, as if he had actually drunk it. At most, it would be convenient to always have a potion ready.
The pirate hat wasn't very useful at the moment, but the Pirate Eye Patch could be very useful if projected, although the Agile hands effect could be maintained in a passive state, the item needed to be projected to use Plunder.
It could be useful at certain times, but it wasn't necessary to remain in Phantom form all the time.
Mermaid's Horn was useful for specific situations, apart from needing water to converse with someone, except for the effect of enhancing hidden conversations, its effects overridden the two-way mirrors of this world.
The other items were attached to Ragnarok.
Rigel, out of curiosity, left Ragnarok in the king's treasury and placed it in a Phantom state.
At that moment, he felt he could project Ragnarok directly! Without any magical cost! Although there were no passive effects, so he simply set it aside, choosing not to keep it in a Phantom state.
In the end, all that remained was the 'bag of coins', the wand, the pistol, the coffin, and the crown.
At least for now, this could change in the future.
After thinking for a while, he removed the 4 ships from the state of bookmarks, Santísima Trinidad, Silent Mary and the other two ships, placing them in his treasure, but kept Clemens, Calypso, Anna, Jack, the Kraken, the Butterfly and the Bee a little longer.
He couldn't just pull Jack and Calypso out of thin air, so he'd have to wait until he could go out for a 'walk' on his own.
Kreacher wouldn't be happy, but it wouldn't be strange for a house-elf to be unhappy.
Rigel took a deep breath as Salazar stared at him, the snake clearly glaring at him with irritation.
"Master, where is my bed?" He asked in Parseltongue.
Rigel rolled his eyes at the snake. "That's all, go sleep in a normal bed."
"Master! Please! Don't do this!" Salazar pleaded quickly, crawling towards Rigel.
Rigel ignored the snake. Although he could keep living beings inside the king's treasure when they were inside magical items, everything there entered a state of stasis. The only exception he had found so far was his wand, which he felt was normally connected to him, but Salazar couldn't stay in a state of stasis all the time, right?
Even if he stays, every time he leaves, it will seem like he just entered, which would only frustrate the snake and prevent it from taking advantage of the coffin's power.
Rigel thought it would be a problem to find a place for the Kraken to stay, but after that he had the idea of keeping the Kraken inside a bottle on one of the ships, then placing it in the king's treasury.
At least until he finds a permanent place for it, he would first have to talk to the giant squid, but with his power and the crown combined, plus Calypso, the squid would probably be happy to accept the Kraken, right?
Rigel shrugged. Salazar could only content himself with lying near the fireplace, sulking. Rigel ignored the snake.
In fact, Rigel was planning on using the Monster Vitamin on him if there were no better options.
He considered using it on Kreacher, but the elf would probably turn into a really strange creature, he didn't know what to expect, taking risks had never been Rigel's strong suit.
Salazar, on the other hand, had the blood of a Horned Serpent, they could become invisible and fly, and possessed a deadly venom, which would have made Salazar extremely strong.
But he didn't use that in the Pirates of the Caribbean world because there was another option, perhaps even a better one, the basilisk. The basilisk has clear weaknesses, but perhaps the monster vitamin could deal with that. Besides, as an important 'character' from the original work, it could probably become his familiar upon surrendering, giving Rigel another layer of insurance.
Rigel also had other options, such as the Kraken itself, Jack, the Troll, or perhaps Aragorn, Hagrid's Acromantula, maybe Hagrid's brother, that giant, and if so, what would a giant look like after taking that?
Hagrid's three-headed dog, Cerberus, was also sent away, perhaps Hagrid will sell it to him, also the dragon Norberta... There are also various races in the Forbidden Forest, but Rigel prefers to use this on some animal with whom he has made a contract, so he would have to wait and see. the potion from the Adventure Book didn't have an expiration date, he could decide that in the future.
There were so many possibilities... but again, Rigel preferred to play it safe, the Basilisk was so powerful normally, if it advanced any further...
The Genetic Awakening potion was also unknown, Rigel hadn't yet decided whether taking it now would be more useful or if waiting to see if he could acquire more bloodlines would be a better idea.
In the end, he was in no hurry, so he kept it in his treasure.
The projects he received were also on the agenda to be created, as a child asking for such precious ingredients might seem dubious, but Calypso... she already had a taste for potions, he could acquire materials through her and she could even become a famous potion master.
All of this was just plans, plans that would be put into practice little by little, for now... he really wanted to take a nice bath in his bathtub!
