Chapter 116 - Chap.114 - Phantom Equipment

[Magic Passports can be unlocked at any time and kept until the next adventure. Before starting the next adventure, you need to unlock everything in them.]

Rigel read the information and seemed satisfied, at least he had a year, so he could let Calypso learn memory spells good enough to create an identity for those two, Clemens and Anna.

Furthermore, she could also learn the traceless stretching spell, in which case she could let the queen bee and the moth out without it, besides which they needed a good environment to grow, something that perfectly mimicked the world outside.

Rigel also thought he could move house for that, buy a house in a more distant location, Calypso could do that, he had treasure and the woman could assume the role of a wealthy adult witch who moved to the United Kingdom, he just needed to choose a country of origin where there wasn't even a clear magical government, in that case, even without the blood of ancient wizards, she could appear as one of those reserved witches who live far from Muggles.

The Identity Card could perfectly prove that she was a pureblood with no relatives in sight for any 'test', it was perfect.

The main reason he wanted another house was that he no longer cared about the Blacks' treasure, yes, it was valuable and they had many good things, but after taking them away, the rest was trivial.

Before, he had no interest in seeing Sirius exonerated for that reason, the moment Sirius returned free and clear, the Blacks' inheritance would fall on his head, not Rigel's. Now? Whether it was the house or the money, Rigel didn't care, he only cared about the magical artifacts, magic books, and Kreacher himself.

However, knowing Sirius, he would gladly give up Kreacher and the dark magic items/books, although Rigel hadn't planned on asking in the first place.

Rigel's original plan was extremely conservative, but now he could make many changes.

In any case, specific planning would have to wait until after Calypso was released.

The first thing Rigel did was absorb all of his magical items into the king's treasure, including his "bag of coins".

It was at that moment that Rigel noticed a bug in the king's treasure.

The treasure could not hold ordinary items, but nothing prevented it from keeping ordinary items within the magical storage.

After absorbing everything, Rigel could choose 5 items to keep in "phantom" form.

Rigel initially placed his 'bag of coins' as a phantom item, there was no passive effect, but the next moment, Rigel opened his hand, and out of nowhere, a Phantom form of the pouch, seemingly transitioning between a black mist and transparency, appeared in his hand. Opening the bag, he saw all his items inside.

Rigel swallowed hard, this was really good, he had completely underestimated it!

Lost in thought, Rigel considered something else. He picked up a golden bookmark, tore it open, and in the next moment, his wand appeared in his hand. He placed his wand in the king's treasure and then set it as a phantom item.

When Rigel moved his hand as if he were holding a wand, a Phantom wand appeared in his hand, he cast a simple cleansing spell on himself, and the spell worked perfectly!

Rigel smiled excitedly, he would never have to worry about being disarmed again!

He tested a few more spells and discovered that there was a passive effect, in this state, he felt his connection with the wand deepen. Magic depends on intention, and Rigel felt it became easier to cast spells with the wand in this state.

Thoughtfully, Rigel then placed the crown as a phantom item. This time he felt the passive effect, that 'omnipotent' feeling he had when wearing the crown had disappeared, but the sapphires' powers could still be used.

Furthermore, although it was far from the previous effect, he still felt his body stronger, and the connection he had with water magic was also felt with the wind and lightning, the best part was that without divine energy, he could maintain this state all the time!

Control over objects, control over marine life, control over the sea, as well as magic over water, wind, and lightning.

Unfortunately, he no longer felt that connection with the water, so the power of "semi-immortality" in the water had probably disappeared.

It was a shame, but a continuous nerf effect would have been better than nothing.

Rigel kept his wand in Phantom form, he could still feel their connection that way. Perhaps it was the only passive effect it had, besides the crown and standard storage, he still had two more slots.

He planned to buy a replacement wand to keep it handy, walking around with a Phantom wand would be asking for trouble, so he planned to keep a wand in plain sight. Only Ollivander would be bothered by it, but if asked, he could simply say that his original wand had broken.

In fact, perhaps he can retrieve his old wand from Calypso's after she gets a new wand for herself.

Leaving that aside, he focused on the last two spaces, what should he keep there?

He thought for a moment and finally placed the legendary flint in one of the slots. There was no passive effect, but he felt that being able to draw a weapon out of nowhere was much faster than using a spell, especially with the flint pistol's effect against creatures of darkness.

He opened his hand as if he were holding a gun, the phantom pistol appeared in his hand, he didn't fire, not wanting to make a hole in his wall and alarm Kreacher.

Letting the pistol dissipate into mist, he thought for a moment longer, and his eyes gleamed. Perhaps he should try the Coffin?

If the coffin effects could be used all the time... including the "don't notice me" effect, wouldn't that be the same as having invisibility all the time?

In addition to healing, although the coffin's healing power wasn't extreme, it was like having a healing effect constantly activated without needing to use the coffin. Although he probably needed to sleep, if he passed out somewhere, the effect should still work, right?

Finally, the ultimate effect: being able to destroy the coffin to transform into a vampire... although he still vehemently refused to use this power, if by any chance he were to truly die, wouldn't that be the same as having another life? He already had the Aztec Rune, another layer of security was preferable to none.

Of course, it all came down to whether or not the coffin would function in a passive state.

Excited, he wanted to take it out now, but he stopped, remembering that the coffin was inside Ragnarok.

Frowning, he took the bottle containing Ragnarok from his bag.
