A lot of people frame Christianity as a religion but it's not.
Christianity is a relationship with Jesus.
Christianity is all about following Jesus and he's teachings so let's clarify some viewpoints and misconceptions.
What is the difference between religion and Christianity?
If you were a kid going to church with your parents you would think that Christianity is all about worship and services and doing all those traditional stuff.
Like praying, singing,hymns and hearing the pastor preach.
But Christianity isn't like that because church is where you go to,to hear the Gospel and worship God but you probably didn't understand since you were a kid.
But Christianity isn't about the church it's about God.
In religion you get your salvation by doing these good deeds but in Christianity it's about grace and the holy spirit.
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
Religion says follow rules but Jesus says follow me.
And God can never have a perfect ambassador because most of the time we look at the pastors and look them up as God but the truth is that God is just.
There's no perfection outside of him and those ambassadors cannot be God in any sought of way.
We just put people who are Christians and put them up as representatives of gods but let me tell you.
You shouldn't ever look at a Christian and follow him and use him as a symbol of Christianity because the symbol of Christianity is Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is perfect and he made Christianity in the first place.
Jesus at the same time is God because we have the Holy trinity.
Three individuals into one God.
So when you're worshipping Jesus you're worshipping God.
WHAT IS THE HOLY TRINITY?
The Holy Trinity is simple.
One God in three distinct persons.
THE FATHER
THE SON
THE HOLY SPIRIT =GOD
However the father is not the son and the son is not the Holy spirit.
The Holy spirit is not the father and son.
The father is the source and the son (Jesus)is begotten and the Holy spirit proceeds from Jesus.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

If you don't understand here's an analogy.
Fire.
When you see fire you see the flames (Father)then fire also has light which is the son Jesus and the warmth and hotness from it proceeds (the Holy spirit)
They are the same in essence but not roles.
So God is a deity in three separate roles.
The father - the god above us.
Jesus - the God with us.
The Holy spirit - the God inside of us.
So all three are God but not gods.
That's the common misconception that Christians worship 3 Gods.
In Matthew 6:9 they also show the father is God "God the father has set his seal on him"
In Acts 5:3-4 Peter says "you have lied to the Holy spirit you have not just lied to man but to god"
John 8:58 Jesus says "Before Abraham was born IAM"
I Am is the divine name from exodus 3:14 the jews tried to stone him because they knew he was claiming to be God.
This all proves that the trinity is a thing and there's nothing wrong with worshipping them.
Worshipping the holy spirit isn't a sin because that's God not a God same for the father and son.
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
1. You shall not have any god before me.
2. Do not make any idols.
3.Do not misuse the name of God.
4.keep the Sabbath day Holy.
5. Honor your father and mother.
6.Do not murder.
7.Do not commit adultery.
8.Do not steal.
9.Do not lie.
10.Do not covet.
Exodus 20:2-17
A commandment is a divine rule, especially one of the Ten Commandments.
If you break these rules immediately come to God for forgiveness and try to fix your habits.
But one rule we always break is the first commandment you shall not have any other God before me.
We spend more times on our phones just scrolling so here's how you can defeat it.
When you're struggling to get off your phone just shut it down.
Just shut it down with a press and have a moment with God.
And when you pray to god pray with your real heart not as if your writing a letter to the King of England.
If you're the type of person to talk in slang then talk to God that way.
What posture should you use? that's simple you're heart matters more than your posture.
Because Jesus prayed with he's head down.
Prayed walking.
Prayed looking up at the sky.
Praying is talking to God so when you talk to God just talk to him the way you would to your friends.
Praying is talking to God not something you treat as a religious rule.
Another way is that when you wake up in the morning you'll probably have the urge to get your phone so instead take your phone and use it to glorify God like reading Bible verses or just researching about the bible.
Don't immediately go to social media,pray to god and read your bible and don't worry it's not a sin to skip pages.
And know that lying is what makes you more like the devil but there's always a difference.
Lying is the intend to deceive people so for example you give someone the wrong information even though you thought it was true you didn't lie your were mistaken.
And no matter what, whether you like it or not God's gonna love you and he's gonna keep on loving and there's nothing you can do about it.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
So whenever you're feeling distant from God remember he isn't the one who shifted.
Jesus died for our sins not so we can just live a sinful life but be covered in he's blood and pay off our debts.Know that whenever you're feeling guilty that's from the Devil.
You should be Convicted that's where you feel bad and come to God.
And make sure whatever you do,do it with the right heart.
