I didn't believe I actually fell asleep.
The covers were still around me when I jolted awake, and my face instantly flushed as soon as I remembered everything that happened last night.
My eyes widened when I sighted a few droplets of blood on the bed, the sight daunting and scary, my head grew lightheaded at once.
He didn't touch me last night, did he?
As that question echoed through me, I quickly pressed my legs together, waiting for pain.
But I felt nothing.
That made me frown in confusion.
"Good. You're awake." A voice called from the side and I jumped, my face flushing sgsin on realizing Madame Anabel was present right now, and three maids were right behind her.
"Uh… where's the king?" I asked and she clicked her tongue, her eyes briefly rakikg over me.
"He already left and he instructed me to show you to your new room."
