The sun was shining bright up in the Manila sky, behind the clouds, making it look like heaven was just touching the earth. Jay woke up well rested finally after all the drama involving Yuri and the anticeptic smell of the hospital. Today Kiefer would come back home. Today she would go and take care of him until he got fed up of it. Jay got out of bed and got ready. She wore a simple outfit. Jeans and a top, white shoes. Her hair was in an elegant hairstyle including a claw clip. She felt happy. As she walked down towards the breakfast table, the food already imagined in her mind, already calculating how much she could eat. When her thoughts were interrupted by none other than her horescope brother. "What are you thinking about Jay, you're overthinking, what is it about?" Aries asked. "Nothing, just about today" Jay replied. "He will be fine without you, you know that right?" Aries said. "I know, i just want to got there and make sure he is comfortable" jay said. Aries nodded and walked off towards the dinning table. Jay followed calm as always, well mostly. The dinning table was crowded with people. Kuya Angelo at the head, tita Gemma to his side and Jeana beside her. There were two seats, one fir Aries and the other for Jay. As they sat down Jeana asked jay why she was dressed up, normally jay is in her pj's on the weekends as holidays. " Jay. Why are you so dressed up? I mean i am not mad but just curious. Normally you would be in your pj's" Jeana asked. " I am going to meet Kiefer mumma" Jay replied. "Oh, ok ok" Jeana said. Aftet breakfast, Jay requested Aries to take her to Kiefer's house. She had gotten a message from him saying that he was alreadg home. As Aries dropped her off at ther doorstep of Kiefer house, he gave Jay an older brother look clearly implying Don't be stupid and drove away. He was probably going to see Ella himself, Jay thought to herself. She took out the spare key of Kiefer's house from her purse and put it in the keyhole, the lock clicked open and she stepped inside, immediately going towards Kiefer's room. Kieren met her on the way, "Hi ate, how are you?" "I am good Kieren, how are you?" "I am good as well, kuya is waiting for you" "thanks Kieren". Jay climbed the steps two at a time, clearly eeger to get to her boyfriend. When she reached Kiefer's room, she didn't knock, she just swung the door open and stepped inside, immediately rushing to his side. "Jay…" she didn't wait for him to say anything more. Her lips crashed against Kiefer's, in a haste so powerfull it took over her completely. As they both pulled away, both breathless. "How are you feeling?" She asked him, sitting beside him on the bed, the mattress dipping the slightest bit under her light weight. "Better, now that you're here" Kiefer replied. "You're still corrny even after beeing shot by your best friend" . "Tss don't call him my best friend. He doesn't deserve thag title". Jay didn't argue, sbe jnew he was right. Yuri had done so much and Kiefer still called him his best friend, but it was about time that he lost that title. "Did you have your medicine?" Jay asked. "Yeah. I was just about to call you to tell you" "don't worry, i trust you" Kiefer just smirked. He patted the space next to hime gesturing for Jay to come sit next to him. Jay obviously couldn't say ni to an injured Kiefer so she vace in and crawled over, cuddling close, still careful of his stiches. " Wanna watch a movie?" Kiefer aksed. Jay nodded passing him the remote fron his bedside table. Kiefer tooks it from her hand, leaning down to press a soft kiss on the top of her head. As they sat there watching the movie they both realised that they were happy, no matter who tried to spoil it, they would always find a way ti come back like this. And right now. That's all that mattered.
Hi guyss. Ik ik i am sorry for such a short chapter but i am runnught out of ideas for this book and j don't think i am good at writing these types of books. But i am trying my absolute best.
