Chapter 2 - CHAPTER 2: THE JUGDEMENT FLAME

The great hall of the Celestial Realm shimmered with gold and drifting clouds. High above, the ten Divine Lords sat on their thrones, watching in silence. Their presence alone made the air feel heavy.

Yue Yun stood at the center, trying to stay calm, but his heart was racing. He already knew… this moment would decide everything.

"Yue Yun."

The voice echoed through the hall.

Yan Wuhen, the Flame Lord, leaned forward slightly, his fiery eyes glowing. "You have broken the sacred laws. Your power is growing beyond control. The Celestial Realm cannot ignore this any longer."

Yue Yun lowered his head. The weight of their judgment pressed down on him, but he didn't speak. He knew they were right… at least partly. Still, something inside him refused to give up.

"This is not the end of your path," another voice said.

Shen Xuanzun, the Judgment Lord, spoke calmly, but his words carried authority. "Your tribulation begins now. You will descend to the Mortal Realm and face trials you have never known. If you succeed, you will return… stronger."

Before Yue Yun could respond, flames suddenly rose around him.

They weren't ordinary flames.

They felt warm… yet sharp, like they could cut straight through his soul. The Judgment Flame.

He clenched his fists as the fire wrapped around him, burning away his weaknesses, testing his spirit.

A powerful roar shook the hall.

Ao Xuan, the Azure Dragon, appeared beside him, its glowing scales lighting up the space. "You are not alone, Yue Yun," the dragon said, its deep voice steady. "I will stand with you."

Yue Yun looked up and nodded. Somehow, that was enough. The fear in his chest began to settle, replaced by something stronger—determination.

The flames blazed brighter.

Then—

Everything vanished.

He was falling.

The Celestial Realm was gone.

The Mortal Realm felt completely different. The air was heavier, harder to breathe. The sky wasn't bright and endless—it was dull, sometimes dark. Below him were small villages, simple homes, and people struggling just to survive.

Yue Yun hit the ground with a soft thud.

For a moment, everything was quiet.

Then he heard a voice.

"Who… who are you?"

He opened his eyes and saw a small girl staring at him, her eyes wide with curiosity and a little fear.

"I'm Yue Yun," he said softly, still catching his breath. "I came here… to face my trials."

The girl studied him for a second… then smiled.

"My name is Mei Lin," she said gently. "Don't worry. I'll help you."

Yue Yun blinked, a little surprised.

In a world that already felt so unfamiliar… he hadn't expected kindness.

As he looked at her, something shifted inside him.

Maybe this journey wouldn't just be about survival.

Maybe it would be about the people he meets along the way.

The path ahead was unknown—full of danger, pain, and hard choices.

But one thing was certain.

He would face it all.

Because the fate of the Three Realms… depended on him.
