"Are you, like, drunk or something?" Allen asked, looking pretty bewildered. Cedric even managed to bend his fork, as if it were made of paper, after hearing what Michael said.
‘…Wait, did he really just bend that fork?’
"Why would I be drunk?"
"Because you’re out of your mind. Engagement? Engagement?" Allen asked, widening his blue eyes to the fullest.
He leaned toward Michael as if he was ready to pounce on him at any moment.
I totally got how Allen felt, though. Michael's talk about the engagement was unexpected. It sounded like something only Robain would say.
‘This is what it means to have double standards, huh?’
"Lili, let's go out and play.”
"Sorry, Josh, but big sis is super busy right now."
"How are you, my big sis? If you think about it, I'm technically your big bro, you know!" Josh exclaimed from next to me, but nobody at Julianne’s table seemed to care about his outburst. I felt the same, to be honest.
