"Did you have a good time with the Second Prince, Lili?" Julianne asked, lifting me up lightly in her arms.
We had just returned to the Second Prince's palace, and it was the perfect timing for her question.
But regardless, I smiled brightly and nodded. I knew I had to reassure her since she would worry if I told her that we wandered around the palace on our own.
"Uh-huh, Carlisle showed me something interesting."
"Something interesting?"
"It's a secret!"
As I spoke with a wide smile, Julianne gently pinched my cheek, careful not to hurt me. She had an affectionate gaze as if she had something adorable right in front of her.
I naturally averted her gaze and looked at Carlisle, who was standing a little further away.
But now that I thought about it, there was no way Julianne wouldn’t notice if my magic was intentionally unleashed as long as she was by my side. So, I couldn’t help but wonder what Carlisle's plan was.
