"Lili, promise me you won't ever leave the Prince's palace, okay?"
Julianne's gaze was firm as our eyes locked. Standing by her side, Michael wore a faint smile, glancing down at me.
‘I already told you, I won't cause any trouble outside the house…’
I nodded almost immediately.
"Don't worry!" I reassured them.
‘Besides, I don't even know my way around here!’
Julianne playfully pinched my cheek, her grin widening. However, her touch didn't feel as gentle as before. I had secretly pinched them this morning, and that's how it felt. Or maybe it was because they appeared plumper as I gained weight.
"I'll be back soon, so enjoy yourself," Julianne said, rising from her seat to bid farewell. I slowly waved my hand in their direction, watching as they departed.
They made a lovely couple, Julianne and Michael, although Cedric suited her equally well. It made me wonder, though - it had been quite some time since Cedric last visited the mansion. Was he that busy?
