"They were selling something interesting at the dessert shop I always go to.”
On an early summer afternoon, with the magic power test just around the corner, Allen opened the door to the parlor clearly looking excited.
‘The color of his hair really suits summer. It looks so refreshing. The same goes for Luca.’
I waved at Luca, who entered with a proud look on his face.
‘Why is he so excited?’
"You'd be surprised if you knew what I’ve brought for you."
Allen turned to me with a smug look on his face. Judging by the fact that he was looking at me and not at Julianne, I guessed it had something to do with dessert.
Joshua, who had been sitting next to me the entire time, leaned forward and asked,
"What is it?"
Luca arrogantly lifted his chin and smirked.
‘What's with his expression?’
I looked at the paper bag in Allen's arms curiously.
‘It looks bulky. What on earth did he buy so much of? But it doesn’t look that heavy for such a full bag...’
