From the very beginning, I planned to ensure that Julianne found the perfect match, someone who could make her the happiest. Robain was never a serious contender, so I quickly removed him from the picture. However, the more time I spent with Julianne, the more I questioned whether my actions were truly right.
‘Can I really determine Julianne's happiness? Even if it's true for Robain, wouldn't it be better to let Julianne choose for herself when it comes to other people? Especially considering I'm not even her 'real' sister.’
"Lili, are you sick?" Julianne looked at me with a worried expression as we sat down to eat. I hesitated to take a bite of the dessert in front of me, and it seemed to make her concerned.
Michael, too, furrowed his eyebrows and stared at me.
I shook my head and reassured them,
"It's nothing."
"It can't be nothing, Lili. You promised you'd tell me if anything was wrong, didn't you?"
"It really is nothing!"
