Chapter 78 - JK - 3K Balanced

(Keifer's POV)

The shore wasn't quiet.

It never was when they were involved.

Voices carried over the wind.

Laughter.

Arguments.

Unnecessary noise.

They were already there.

Waiting.

Percy leaning against a car like he owned the place.

Aries beside him, calmer as always.

And the rest—

spread out.

Cin running around for no reason.

Blaster shouting at someone.

Drew probably asking for money again.

Normal.

Jay stepped out beside me.

She didn't rush.

Didn't try to prove anything.

Just walked forward.

Better.

Her eyes moved across the shore.

Taking everything in.

"…they're already loud," she said.

"They didn't wait," I replied.

"They never do."

Of course.

Then her attention shifted.

To the water.

To the yacht.

Mine.

She stopped walking.

"…that's yours?"

"Yes."

A pause.

"…it's too much."

"It's enough."

She didn't argue.

Just looked at it for a second longer.

Then started walking again.

We reached closer.

And that's when she noticed it.

The side.

The bold print.

3K.

She slowed.

Eyes narrowing slightly.

"…what is that?" she asked.

I glanced at it.

Then back at her.

"3K."

"I can see that."

"Then why are you asking?"

She gave me a look.

"Explain."

I exhaled lightly.

"It's for us," I said.

A pause.

"My brothers and me."

She waited.

"Keifer. Keigen. Keiren."

Realization hit her slowly.

"…that's actually—"

She stopped.

"…fine," she finished.

"Only fine?"

"Don't push it."

I almost smiled.

Then I nodded slightly.

"Look at the other side."

She frowned.

"…what now?"

"Just look."

She turned.

Walked around slightly.

And then—

she stopped.

Completely.

Because there—

on the other side—

JK.

Silence.

She stared at it.

Didn't move.

Didn't speak.

Then slowly—

she turned back to me.

"…you're insane."

"Maybe."

She stepped closer.

And before I could say anything—

she hugged me.

Tight.

Not careful.

Not thinking.

Just… real.

I steadied her instantly.

One hand at her back.

She didn't pull away immediately.

Then she leaned slightly closer—

and muttered, low enough for only me—

"…shit."

I raised a brow.

"Now they're going to tease us the whole journey."

That made me laugh.

Quiet.

But real.

"Let them," I said.

She pulled back.

"…no."

"Yes."

"No."

"Yes."

She made a face.

Then asked—

"…when did you even do this?"

"I have my ways."

She narrowed her eyes.

"…I hate that answer."

"I know."

She shook her head.

Then turned—

and walked away.

Of course.

Right toward them.

And that's when—

they noticed.

"OH—THEY'RE HERE!"

Cin's voice.

Loud as ever.

And just like that—

peace ended.

Peace didn't last.

It never did.

The moment Cin saw us—

he froze.

Then his eyes shifted—

to the yacht.

And then—

he saw it.

"…no way," he said slowly.

That tone.

Dangerous.

Blaster followed.

Then Drew.

Then Felix.

And in seconds—

everyone saw it.

"JK?!" Felix shouted.

"JK?!" Blaster repeated.

"JK?!" Drew added.

Jay stopped walking.

Closed her eyes briefly.

"…I knew it," she muttered.

Too late.

Cin was already running toward us.

"WHAT IS THIS?" he pointed dramatically.

"Decoration," I said.

"Lies," Percy added.

"It's branding."

"Branding?" Felix laughed.

"For what? Married life?"

Jay turned to me slowly.

"…I'm leaving."

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

She sighed.

And that's when—

another voice cut in.

"Honestly, it's not even subtle."

Ella.

Calm tone.

Sharp words.

Aries glanced at her.

"Don't start."

"I didn't start," she replied.

"They printed it."

Mica stepped forward next.

Soft smile.

"But it's… actually cute," she said.

Calix immediately turned to her.

"Don't encourage them."

"I'm not," she said gently.

"I'm just saying."

Freya scoffed from behind.

"Cute? This is public announcement level."

Jay looked at her.

"…thank you for that."

Freya smirked.

"Anytime."

Cin jumped back in.

"NO BUT SERIOUSLY—JK?!"

Rakhi stepped forward now.

Calm.

Bold.

Her eyes moved from me—

to Jay—

then to the yacht.

"Interesting," she said.

Cin immediately stood beside her.

"RIGHT?!"

Rakhi looked at him.

"They didn't hide it."

"They didn't even try!" Cin added proudly.

Jay turned to me.

"…control them."

"No."

"They're your people."

"They're not controllable."

Percy stepped in again.

Smirking.

"I leave you alone one day," he said,

"and now your names are printed."

"Worse," Aries added calmly.

Jay crossed her arms.

"…are we going or not?"

There it was.

"YES!" Cin shouted.

"No one told you to lead," Aries said.

"I don't need permission."

"Clearly," Ella muttered.

Mica laughed softly.

Calix shook his head.

"This trip is already a mistake."

Freya smirked.

"It just started."

They all began moving toward the yacht.

Loud.

Unorganized.

Jay walked beside me.

Closer again.

"…this is your fault," she said quietly.

"It is."

"…I hate you."

"You don't."

"…a little."

Fair.

We stepped onto the yacht—

And the noise only got worse.

Because now—

everyone was together.

And no one was planning to stay quiet.
