In the year 2100, humanity had destroyed planet Earth to the point where life could no longer be sustained. The rich had found a new livable planet and prompted the corrupt world leaders to destroy what was left of Earth to be able to force the poor to basically sell every ounce of their soul to just survive and be able to move to the new planet. What they didn't realize was that move would be their downfall.
As all of Earth's inhibitors were in space during the move, they encountered a magnetic field that altered humans in many ways. What they saw immediately were people with strong mentalities developed spiritual power and were able to transform into an animal counterpart. With the strength and unified hate for all of the corruption, the civilians were finally able to fight back and start what is now known as the interstellar empire. They elected a king from their strongest warrior and diplomats of all that dealt with the corruption to bring peace to the civilians. As the empire grew they realized many things were changing. More and more people developed spiritual strength and were graded from low being E to the highest reported being SS tier. Spiritual animal counterparts also started to include animals society had thought myths like dragons, mermaids, gryphons, and more. But more shockingly is everyone started developing a secondary gender. You could be born male or female, but later develop into Alpha, Beta, or Omega. Alphas usually grew to be people who were very strong and held pheromones that could suppress those weaker than the individual. Betas were like your average person and made up the majority of society. Lastly, Omegas were more feminine and delicate. They also carried pheromones that were supposed to help soothe turbulent Alpha moods. Alpha and Omega pheromones could be used to seduce the other or force the other to go into a rut or heat if the forcer had a stronger spiritual level. Even with these changes, there was peace in the empire for many centuries. That was until corruption started working its way back in.
The year 2457 the new ruler was an alpha who liked pretty things and did not like critique or things not going according to his plans. Many whispered in his ears of betrayal happening around him and how he shouldn't even trust his Omega partner. So when he did actually catch his partner cheating, all hell broke loose and the ones to suffer most were Omegas. New laws were put in place. Alphas could have up to five Omega partners. Omegas were not to have more than one partner and could not abort or remove marks from Alphas unless pardoned from the emperor, but seeking his pardon was asking for an even worse result. As he ruled, society followed and Omegas were treated like property to sell or buy and to breed. Most Omegas only had any sense of freedom or social standing if they had a strong, prominent Alpha that allowed them to. Many of the rich and powerful had five married partners and many more to mess with on the side. For years corruption seeped right back in just like it did before sucking Earth dry of any form of life. And like this the empire grew and grew and yet seemed to fall back to step one all at the same time.
Year 2860-
The royals were scared. The citizens favorite, Marshal Theodore Shen was returning to the empire capital. The Marshal was a very stoic and just individual. There were only two things he hated. Corruption and Omegas. The Marshal had been born to the dragon family. His father was a scheming man that always looked for his own gain and had promised to only ever love his mother, but after Theo was born, his father soon found four other Omegas to marry. His mother, broken and insane, tried to use Theo as a pawn in keeping power and her husband's love constantly. Theo watched as his mother and all of the Omegas fought for his fathers attention using their bodies and pheromones to induce constant bouts of lust. His father loved it all and his house was full of no love, just pheromones and sex. Theo developed to be very strong and entered the military as soon as he could to get away from his family's control. Theo eventually became the strongest person in the empire with a spiritual power level of SSS. This further drove his family to try to use him, his mother to use his military merit, and the corrupt royals to view him as a threat. It was also after reaching a SSS level that Theo started to truly hate Omegas. While he didn't really hate Omegas, he hated encountering them. As the strongest Alpha, his pheromones were very powerful and as there were no Omegas of his level, anytime he came into contact with one, they would instantly fall into heat. The Marshal was also loved by the people as he stood for justice and took down corruption when he bumped into it. Many sought to ride his glory or to pull him to their side so they would shove their Omega family in his face. He had watched many Omegas use their pheromones to seduce and climb social ladders and many Alphas losing their minds to lust. He started to hate pheromones as they could lead you around and you could never tell if there was actually any love or if it was just constant lust. This wasn't a big problem for him though as the royals fear of him sent him to the front lines to fight against the zerg on the borders for years. They saw it as an out of sight out of mind solution, but what they didn't realize was that this would only make the Marshal more popular among the common people and have the strongest military power. But now that he has defeated the Zerg and was on the way back to the empire's central star with more power than they can handle, they decided it's time to remove this threat.
On a planet at the edge of the Empire-
Planet E23 was far from the central star but not like the other poor planets based on farming. It was a very busy planet that saw a lot of traffic due to being a great stopping point for travelers and businesses entering and leaving the Empire. It had very scenic spots and interesting history. With that they had a lot of business and even had a few entertainment businesses as it was a good planet for filming and even had some popular celebrities of the empire originate from there. It also had one of the most hated celebrities there.
Nyx was a very beautiful woman. She had long brown hair and siren-like eyes that could captivate anyone that made eye contact. She had been one of the most popular celebrities until rumors broke out and now is the absolute most hated. Nyx was an Omega and it was a sensation when she debuted as Omegas were mainly to stay home and not have jobs and especially not jobs that involved publicity. Nyx made a splash when she first featured in the public's eye. She inspired many Omegas and captivated many Alphas. She was considered to change the stereo type of how Omegas should be held in society. That was until news broke that she tried to seduce her CEO and when his wife found them, Nyx tried to attack her and in return damaged her own glands. Now the glands in an Omega serve as their purpose in society. An Omega without them is infertile and considered useless trash. So many were furious with her that they condemned her online and deemed her to have no future. So when the news broke out that she had committed suicide, no one cared as she was a trashy useless Omega anyways.
Nyx-
Now what you actually need to know is that Nyx was born an illegitimate daughter to a wealthy playboy and a poor maid. Both her mother and father were human with no spirit animals, but her father as an Alpha held a level B spiritual power and her mothers was unknown, but when Nyx was tested she was the lowest level E and therefore considered nothing to her father. But as Nyx was born, by law her father was supposed to marry her mother. But before the wedding preparations could happen, Nyx's mother was killed by another Omega to fill the fifth wife spot in her fathers harem. Nyx was raised like a slave and was used as a punching bag for the other wives. When Nyx turned 18 her father decided it time she became of use to her family and forced her to sign an entertainment contract with one of his friends companies as he wanted to make money off of her face and also to sleep with her without his wife finding out. Nyx had entered the company and after recording several ads and commercials, she became very popular. Now Nyx never got to see any of the money she made, but at least she had some freedom from her family. And so she progressed her career with all her energy in hopes one day to fully break away from her family.
Then she was called to meet the CEO alone in his office. Nyx had seen the way he looked at her and had done her absolute best to avoid meeting him at all costs. But she was not able to run this time, so Nyx made her way to his office. After knocking, she was told to come inside.
"Sir, you called for me."
"Yes, come closer."
The room was dark and Nyx was struggling to control her muscles with how thick the pheromones in the room were. Her own pheromones started leaking out and she could see the smirk on the CEO's face grow as he caught a whiff. As soon as Nyx was in front of his desk the CEO stood up and started cornering Nyx.
"You are very popular now. And I feel as the one that gave you the resources, I have not been thanked properly."
Nyx tried to back away, but her muscles were not working properly and she bumped into his desk leaning on it for support when he grabbed her. He started moving his hands and getting excited while Nyx tried her best to push him away. Then the door burst open and for a second Nyx thought she was saved, but not even half a second later, she knew that hope was gone.
"What is going on?!"
Mr. Lo's wife had walked in and was glaring at them. Before Nyx could say anything and plead for help. Mr. Lo backed off and threw the blame on Nyx.
"I was just taking a break in the dark because my head hurt when this slut of a minx walked in and started pouring her pheromone everywhere trying to seduce me!"
His wife's glare turned to Nyx and Nyx knew that she could not get out of this. Mr. Lo's wife was his only Omega wife as she had family ties to the current empress. She had prided herself on her husband's love as his only wife even though he slept around behind her back all the time without her knowing. Many being young omegas he tricked into thinking he could make them the next big star.
"You dare to try and seduce my husband!? Today you will be punished so that you cannot seduce anyone."
With that Mrs. Lo had several guards come drag Nyx away and damaged her glands beyond repair. Nyx had gone to the cops begging for justice, but in return they said there was nothing they could do and didn't even help stop the rumors that Mrs. Lo started online with the false story of her trying to seduce her husband and attacking her and in self defense she injured Nyx's glands. This led to the whole of everyone hating her and her being abandoned by her father as now she couldn't even be sold off as no one wanted a faulty omega.
Now as a kid Nyx always stared at the ocean as if it was calling her, so when she decided there was nothing to live for and wanted to take her life, she naturally decided to jump in the ocean to drown. So that night news broke out that the hated celebrity Nyx had taken her life by jumping in the ocean and no body had been recovered. Not that anyone looked for it or cared anyway.
On a small aircraft-
Theo's POV-
I wonder what awaits me on my return.
"Marshal, what are your plans for when we return? You know every royal including your family wants you either on a leash or dead."
"Continue gathering material and take down the corruption that is ruling our empire."
"You can say sexing cool things all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that you have a hundred different targets on your back."
"You may be my trusted friend and deputy, but I am warning you when we get back to keep your mouth shut as it has the tendency to make others want to punch you."
"Hahaha! I didn't know the stoic Marshal could make jokes. Next you'll tell me that you accepted your mom's omega blind dates she has for you."
"I will meet you at Central Star in 2 days. We will plan from there. I am hanging up."
"Wait I-"
James can really piss me off sometimes. I have to up his work load so he doesn't have time to waste his thoughts and energy on talking nonsense. I was on a steady course for the Central Star in my own spaceship as I wanted to get there secretly so that I had time to plan more on how to eliminate the corrupt royals. As I was just entering the empire from the front lines, my ship started to malfunction. I knew instantly someone had betrayed me. No one but a few military officials knew I was heading out before the fleet on a small spaceship. Right now though I don't have time to worry about it. Alarms were blaring. I took manual control of the ship and realized I had a long way until the closest planet which was E23, a border planet of the empire and not enough energy to get there as the energy reserves were draining fast. The only way I was going to make it was to hyper jump and hope that it landed me close enough for the gravity to pull me into a freefall and I can try to drift and land somewhere where I might survive.
I moved my hands as fast as I could and lined up the hyper jump trajectory before pressing launch. I sat back as the ship hurdled in space. Finally I could see the planet getting closer and closer and then it stopped. I was so close but felt like I was just floating and wasn't close enough to get pulled in. I smashed my hand on the panel when all of a sudden I remembered there were some explosives on the ship. I started acting quicking so that I didn't drift back out into space and collected the explosives. I set their timer to 5 minutes and put my suit on to leave the craft. I put the explosives on the side not facing the planet and started the timer before quickly re-entering the ship.
"Come on, I just need a little boost."
They went off and the ship hurtled forward again. This time I felt the descent of the ship headed towards the planet. Now the problem was that all I saw was the blue ocean. I crashed into the waves with a splash and thankfully because of the explosives, I had an easy hole to get out of. I drifted for a while before I saw land and swam as hard as I could. I finally made it to shore when a storm started brewing and creating big waves. The lights of the nearest town were far in the distance so I found shelter for the night to rest and would head to town the next day. As I lay there I started wondering who had betrayed me. Just another dirty secret to dig up. I sighed before closing my eyes for some peace.
