Leo smirked, looking around for approval from his cronies. "Stick to fixing printers, Thorne. Leave the 'high-tech' talk to people who actually own it."

Xavier didn't wait for an answer. He didn't even touch Leo's laptop. He simply pulled a small, battered USB drive from his pocket—a drive he had been using for his senior project—and plugged it into his own ancient laptop.

Professor Higgins stood frozen. The other students were recording the scene on their phones. Leo, the most powerful student in the department, was red-faced, powerless, and humiliated.
