A few minutes later, Hector regains consciousness in the hallway. He slowly rises to his feet though he feels weak. He looks around him, "What happened?" He's hit with a headache, "Urgh." He looks ahead of him, "Right, my project." He starts walking down the hallway.
He arrives at the storage room, he moves to the corner to see a box at the corner. He reaches out and takes the box off, "It's untouched, that's good." Hector is working on a project to create a robot as his year project. He covers it up and leaves the storage room, he notices people coming to the building so he leaves through the back exit.
He walks back to his room with no one seeing him, he enters his room and lies on his bed. Meanwhile on campus, people have gathered to talk about the light they saw but yet nothing is amiss.
Hector starts to doze off, he blinks his eyes and sees a screen before him. He's startled, "Huh?!" he sits up and sees the screen move with his vision. "What is this?"

Hector is confused, he moves his hand and it passes through the screen. He rubs his chin, "Could this be the cube from earlier? So I wasn't hallucinating." He looks at the screen and observes it more, "This looks like it's from a game. It needs a name so….." he thinks deep about it, "Since it's like a game, I think BOT is good."

"Confirm." Hector says looking at the screen.

Hector's vision changes, he sees a hologram of himself and it shows his health, stamina, and soul strength. These moves to the top left corner of his vision like a game, this surprises him a lot. He sees his name, skills and physical strength quantified before him.

"This might actually be nice." Hector smiles, "But I need to gain access to it by gaining achievements, this won't be easy." He looks at the skills page on the screen, "Here, there're skills I haven't heard before, like this Information Magic. I also didn't know I knew martial arts."

"I don't get that," Hector lies back down, "But let's assume I do, what next?"

Hector watches the screen with his mouth open, he closes it and falls in thought. "Many choices for me to pick...There're a lot of upsides and downsides but….. the best one is Wealth. With that I'll be able to accomplish a lot of things, and can sponsor Bridget's education." He makes his mind, "I choose the Path of Wealth."
