The villa stood in the northern part of the city, at the very edge of the continent with a clear view of the sea and a forest on the other side, it was very reclusive and only a few knew about the villa's location.
Walking along the forest, Kira walked slowly with the air blowing across her silver hair, looking like a divine goddess from the heavens lost in thought.
She originally intended to return to the villa after a while but didn't realize it till she was already far away from the villa, the city was usually safe all year through so there was nothing wrong with going on a stroll but after a while she snapped out of her thoughts.
"I've gone out too far already, Silas would probably snap if he knew I came out this far." She muttered then decided to return to the villa when she heard shuffling sounds from behind her.
Slowly moving away from view, she looked behind her and saw three men running along the small pathway with another one bundled on the shoulder of the man in the middle.
"Kidnappers? Stormguard university is supposed to be a safe haven, who could possibly kidnap someone here?" Kira thought while hiding behind one of the trees in a hurry.
She decided to not interfere and just watch them pass by silently.
"We need to get out of this city as soon as possible, if we stay here for long and get discovered things would turn ugly." One of them said while panting.
"Why can't we just kill him and report to them instead, it would make things easier" another one asked while panting.
"No that won't work, capturing him alive would means we'll get five times the bounty we would get if we only reported his death. You obviously know the better one here Nelson. Just keep up your pace, we are done here already." The man carrying the unconscious teenager said then continued sprinting across the path.
Waiting till the three were almost out of sight, Kira came out of her hiding spot then turned towards the villa, intending to escape silently when one of them suddenly stopped and looked behind him.
Kira stood on the same spot, trying her best to look unnoticeable but there was no denying it, she was already caught. Looking at the man staring right back at her she turned towards the villa and ran back with all her might.
"How did we almost miss her! Nelson I told you to watch out for anyone around." The first man said, almost screaming.
"Jack stay here with him, I and Nelson will go after her, she must not get away" he said then followed after Kira, Nelson followed him while Jack stayed behind with the unconscious teen on his shoulder.
Rushing along the path, Kira was panting while mustering all her energy to make sure she won't be caught before getting to the villa.
"I should've listened to Silas, of at least bring along a phone, but why would anyone be crazy enough to kidnap someone in Stormguard city?? As long as I can get to the villa Draven will take care of this..." Kira suddenly halted her steps and looked ahead of her with a frightened look on her face. Along the path, a man was sprinting over wearing the same attire as the other three.
"He's definitely part of them!"
Turning back she saw the two chasing behind her, closing her eyes she made one of the craziest decisions of her life and rushed towards the man while pulling out a small dagger from her trenchcoat.
"Aeric catch her!" Nelson shouted from behind her.
She ran over and slashed the dagger towards his neck in a swift motion then run towards the villa.

Kira paused her motion with eyes widened in shock when she saw Aeric catch the dagger with his bare hands then sweep her off her legs in an instant. She couldn't even react or do anything, it felt like the knife hit metal instead of human flesh.
"Come here princess, it's too late to be running outside" he said with a huge grin on his face.
'Why would superhumans be out here to kidnap someone right in Stormguard city's grounds and four of them at that.' Kira thought.

Superhumans weren't strange to Kira after all, her two guards Draven and Silas were one, they were originally humans genetically modified into supersoldiers with different abilities, in exchange they couldn't produce an offspring and they had a very low lifespan left to live after the genetic modification.
It was very hard to make one and even Kira only had two guarding her as the heir of the Frostmoon family but here there were four banding up just to kidnap one teenager, perhaps only the top families or the four giants could mobilize a force of this level for such a reason.
Aeric took the knife from her and walked over while holding her arms with a crooked grin on his face.
"Aeric hold on" Nelson said while walking over then collected the dagger from Aeric and turned it over to reveal the little image of a frozen sword with chains wrapped round it on the handle.
"The crest of the Frostmoon family. She must be the little princess of the Frostmoon family living nearby." Nelson said.
"Looks like it's our lucky day today, the little princess ran straight into our hands." Aeric said with an even wider grin.
"What is the sole heir of the Frostmoon family doing out here in the forest without her guards?" Nelson asked Kira.
"Does it even matter? She's ours now that's what matters let's leave this place before things get messy." Aeric said then threw Kira over his shoulder then the three ran back along the narrow pathway to where Jack was waiting.
The first man remained silent all the while seemingly only focused on returning to where Jack was, racing ahead he suddenly stopped and mumbled.
"Fuck, I had an inkling this would happen and it really did"
"What's going on Alex?" Aeric asked with a puzzled face until he pepped over at the clearing.
Under the moonlight, a creatures crouched feasting on a man lying on the ground then suddenly turned around and stared at the four with deep red eyes.
It stood up and Kira could see it clearly with the moonlight shining on it, standing at over three meters tall with a wolf like snout and silver fur it's presence exuding power and fear to everyone present then it looked up and let out a loud howl.
