Raya's POV.
From the start, I was certain that Elara would prove to be tough, but I always handled tough people quite well. I break them until they are puppets and Elara is going to be one of them.
But I was wrong. She is batshit crazy and impulsive. In a million years, I can never get the the courage to step barefoot into a cage with a dangerous voltage, but I witnessed her push further with her crazy idea.
The moment Elara falls with a heavy thud, my soul crawled out of my body. I watch as her stiff body wriggles on the floor before I am able to stop the electric charge. She passes out instantly and I can smell the stench of the guards cramped up in a room that fried their skin to a dangerous degree.
"I'm done. He's going to fire me," I scream out in my office, crashing the awards and decorations on my table. They fall with a loud crack and I push my table next out of the way. "This is what I get for being a good boss,"
