Raya's POV
The heavy glass door finally slid shut, and the sound of Elara's frantic, running footsteps died away completely down the long concrete corridor. I stood perfectly still near the large glass window, watching the glowing monitoring screens pulse with the Lycans' unstable vital signs down in the lower blocks.
My heart was still beating fast from the violent display I had just witnessed, but I forced my expression to remain smooth and calm. I turned my head slowly to look at George, who was casually wiping his hands with a white tissue as if nothing important had happened.
