I stood right by the edge of the medical platform, my fingers trembling slightly as I stared at the glowing monitors. I didn't understand how Ravenna is able to quickly recover from a cardiac arrest like that.
Just a few minutes ago, her vitals were completely flatlining on the screen, showing a terrifying flat line that should have meant certain death. But now, the rhythmic beep of the machine was steady and smooth, almost artificially calm. It defied every medical textbook I had ever studied in my life.
Still, with the immense pressure suffocating me from all sides in this laboratory, I couldn't afford to dwell more on it. I had a much more pressing issue to confront right now.
