'It's that thing!'
Faye Yardley's pupils constricted. For the first time, she felt that having too good a memory wasn't always a good thing.
This was actually a zombie she had seen in Dungeon 3. Not one of the cannon fodder they had killed, but one of the leaders who had been the last to jump into the pit when the green light appeared!
However, it didn't look nearly as imposing now as it had back in Dungeon 3. 'Either I've gotten stronger, or this zombie hasn't reached its full potential yet during this first Dungeon.'
Faye Yardley was more inclined to believe the latter.
If it were the same as it was in Dungeon 3, its clothes would be neater, and it wouldn't occasionally drag its feet as it walked.
Besides, since Dungeon 1 was a solo dungeon, it couldn't possibly be a complete deathtrap, right?
After this mental assessment, Faye Yardley straightened up, her head held high and on full alert as she watched the zombie approach her step by step.
