Around six in the evening, right during The Gilded Lotus's busiest time, Olivia Wynne had just entered the lobby with William Wynne when she was jostled by someone in the crowd.
William Wynne's hand shot out and steadied Olivia Wynne, keeping her from falling.
After pulling her to safety, William Wynne's sharp gaze immediately fell on the person who had bumped into Olivia Wynne.
"Apologize."
When the young woman saw William Wynne, she was actually quite pleased. 'What a handsome man!'
But when the handsome man opened his mouth and told her to apologize, her pleasure instantly soured into annoyance.
"Someone else pushed me! I didn't bump into her on purpose."
"Apologize."
William Wynne stared at the young woman, a subtle threat in his eyes.
It was probably the first time the young woman had ever been forced to apologize like this, and her eyes began to well with tears. Head bowed, she mumbled in a tiny voice, "I'm sorry."
With that, the young woman ran off.
