Olivia Wynne wanted to shout back, 'What "love 'em and leave 'em"? I'm the woman, and even I don't care, so why are you, a man, so worried about your virtue?'
But when she met Zachary Fairchild's teasing gaze, she ultimately held her tongue.
She sat to the side in silence.
A flicker of amusement crossed Zachary Fairchild's eyes. He looked at Olivia Wynne and said, "Since you're silent, I'll take that to mean you're willing to take responsibility for me. It's settled, then. I'll pick you up from the military compound tomorrow at eight in the morning."
Olivia Wynne let out a cold snort but didn't reply.
William Wynne chimed in from the side, "I'll let the gate guards know ahead of time. You can drive straight into the compound when you arrive tomorrow."
"Alright. Thanks, Chief Wynne."
