"Lionel, let's save the rest for tonight, okay? If you eat too much now, you'll have trouble digesting it," Phoebe Faulkner coaxed gently. "We'll stop eating for now. How about I take you downstairs to move around a little?"
Lionel looked longingly at the unfinished food.
The look in her brother's eyes made Phoebe Faulkner feel like the world's greatest villain. 'I know Jace Lennox's cooking is better than mine, but does he really have to be so obvious about it?'
As if sensing something was wrong from Phoebe's expression, Lionel finally swallowed, stiffened his neck manfully, and said, "Okay. No more eating. Let's go move around."
Phoebe Faulkner smiled.
'My brother is nice like this, too. A brother with normal intelligence wouldn't have listened to me. The way he used to be, he would just boss me around, telling me I couldn't do this and couldn't do that.'
Just as Phoebe was about to take Lionel downstairs, she realized something.
