After Jace Lennox left, Phoebe Faulkner was escorted back to the hospital by a driver.
When she returned, Lionel Faulkner was throwing a tantrum because he couldn't find her. He had chased all the nurses out and, with a grim look on his face, was snapping at everyone he saw. No one dared to approach him.
"Lionel, what's wrong?" Seeing the nurses at the door, Phoebe Faulkner had a good idea of what was going on. She pushed the door open, walked in, and asked him with a smile.
The moment Lionel Faulkner saw Phoebe Faulkner, the gloom on his face lifted instantly. Still, he kept a stern expression and said, "Phoebe, where did you go? You shouldn't be wandering off. It's dangerous outside! Got it?"
"I know, I know," Phoebe Faulkner said with a smile. "I wasn't just wandering around."
