The moment Stella Sterling saw Jace Sheffield, her mouth twitched. She wanted to drop dead right then and there.
Her "laid-off" ex-brother-in-law.

Lane rose to greet him. "Boss, these are Ms. Pierce and Ms. Sterling, who are here for the inspection."
Jace Sheffield removed the cigarette from the corner of his mouth, his tone lukewarm. "A pleasure to meet you both."
Lane made the introductions.
Phoebe Pierce didn't know Jace Sheffield, so she greeted him politely. "Hello, Mr. Sheffield."
Stella Sterling shot him a glance and also mumbled, "Mr. Sheffield."
Jace Sheffield took off his sunglasses and gestured. "Please, sit."
He then stubbed out his cigarette. After a few pleasantries, he began discussing the sale of the factory with Phoebe Pierce.
Stella took the opportunity to text her sister under the table.
Meanwhile, outside the factory, Miles saw Jace Sheffield get out of his car and calmly pulled out his phone, opening the dialer.
