'What's the point of running back and forth like that? It would be better to just stay put.'
"How would I know? Anyway, I don't think she's left yet."
Megan Kane replied nonchalantly.
She figured she couldn't sort out her best friend's business in a heartbeat, so a casual answer was better than trying to come up with the perfect explanation.
'Besides, there are so many things in this world you can't just figure out on a whim. Why bother agonizing over it?'
